Silas Deane befriends the unlikely partner Pierre?Augustin Caron de Beaumarchais, a playwright, celebrity, political fixer, and a man whose charm is as dangerous as his ambition. Famous for writing “The Barber of Seville,” Beaumarchais now turns his theatrical genius toward a far riskier production: a clandestine pipeline of French arms to the American rebels, hidden behind shell companies, forged manifests, and diplomatic sleight of hand.
Together, Deane and Beaumarchais navigate a treacherous world of spies, royal ministers, profiteers, and British agents determined to choke the Revolution before it can breathe. Their covert operation, equal parts espionage, diplomacy, and audacity, becomes the secret lifeline that keeps the American cause alive.
A gripping story about unsung heroes of the American Revolution
With sweeping historical scope and intimate human drama, LIBERTY! tells a tale of idealism, political subterfuge, and bold risk-taking: from the glittering halls of Paris and Versailles, to France’s rough seaports, to the ships that dodged spies and pirates to cross the Atlantic — bringing their illegal, desperately needed cargo to the war-torn country on the other side of the ocean.
The complete story is contained in a lush 216-page 8.5×11″ hardcover with spotUV elements and Magnetic’s signature curved corners on the cover. In addition to the full, 200+ page story itself, the book features a new afterword by Jordan Mechner, a timeline of Revolutionary War events, and a list of suggested further reading that was used in the research and writing of this tale from Jordan Mechner

Meet Joey Frezzini. He’s a boxer. Or he used to be…. before he died.
Joey’s a good-hearted musclehead from the neighborhood, always unlucky, born behind the eight ball. And after an unlucky punch leaves him dead in the ring, Joey recovers with the ability to see and physically interact with ghosts and other supernatural beings.

But jobs like this don’t pay well, and Joey has outstanding debt to impatient local mobsters. Extra Terrestrials
Wrong Bus, Right Heroes!
Extra Terrestrial – Four ordinary kids—Wyatt (the older, cool kid), his brother Neal (the always-awkward kid who eats peanut butter and pickle sandwiches), Vanessa (the girl from the bus stop), and Tom (the annoying one)—are transported to the other side of the galaxy. Not random; they’ve been chosen by the evil Overlord for a very specific reason. Nowhere near home and dependent on each other, this quartet must learn to navigate complex alien politics, forge unlikely alliances with rebel fighters, and ultimately unite to save this new planet—and potentially Earth—from total annihilation, proving that courage and friendship can overcome even galactic evil. Think Goonies meets Star Wars!
From the minds of FRANCO (Superman of Smallville, Superpowers, Magic of SHAZAM!, Flash Gordon Adventures, Teen Titans Go!) and JASON MAY (LEGO Club Magazine, Flash Gordon Adventures 2, Bags & Bots, and Helmights)
A 120-page self-contained Graphic Novel comic!
I think we started talking about this at NYCC almost eight years ago. Jason wanted to draw outer space and skateboards. Heavy on the space and subtle on the skateboards. We worked on this a while ago, trials and tribulations and detours in life but ultimately, an awesome story that’s already finished and ready to print!
