EMPIRE – Deluxe Hardcover
by Mark Waid & Barry Kitson
The legendary graphic novel Empire by Mark Waid & Barry Kitson was originally published by Gorilla Comics, a company formed by Mark Waid, Kurt Busiek and several others, and later was completed under the DC Comics label in 2004. It has been out of print for years and never collected as a hardcover, so the duo decided it was time for an upscale oversized hardcover edition with slipcase, containing extra material like sketches, designs, layouts and pencils, interior work, covers, and a wealth of unpublished art.
They also wanted to prioritize things like layflat binding and high quality paper in the book’s production, to properly showcase Barry’s stunning art and Mark’s brilliant storytelling. There’s even a huge 6-foot panel that Barry Kitson did that was previously only included in the digital version that can now be in print as a giant foldout!
This campaign is focused solely on the original series, which was designed to stand on its own. A mixture of political intrigue and action-adventure, the groundbreaking Empire explores the concept of world domination from the unique perspective of the conquering dictator. Ten years after beginning a campaign of global conquest, the villainous Golgoth sits as the unopposed ruler of the world. But now that the masked monarch has realized his totalitarian dream of ruling the planet, he must contend with the incomprehensible nightmare of lording over a global empire. Under an eternal onslaught of alien invasions, traitorous plots and rebellious uprisings, the evil despot must find a way to maintain control or watch as his kingdom is destroyed. A story like this where the supervillain has actually WON certainly has parallels with current real-world politics.
A Doctor Doom-like supervillain named Golgoth has defeated all superheroes and conquered the world, but must now contend with internal power struggles.Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Golgoth’s dark empire for the first time, don’t miss out!

THE RUTH AVENUE RAIDERS | A 90s/00s Cartoon-Inspired OGN
The best elementary football team on Ruth Avenue tackles their toughest opponents yet, The Robots of Sector7! Win or go CHROME! 90+Pgs!
THE RUTH AVENUE RAIDERS is a 90-page all ages/middle-grades, 90’s cartoon inspired FOOTBALL graphic novel that blends the playground politics of Recess with the absurdist humor of Agents of S.U.I.T., and captures the soulful heart of Hey Arnold! and the coming-of-age and competitive spirit of Dragon Hoops.
When the best (and cockiest) elementary grade football team in the neighborhood is challenged to a match by interdimensional robots, they soon realize their gameplans no longer work and must learn how to overcome new obstacles and move out of their comfort zones – all before the street lights turn on.
THE RUTH AVENUE RAIDERS come from several places in my heart but mostly my dad, Ryan Becton. This story first came to me as a child when my dad, Ryan, would tell me stories about growing up with his street football team, The Ruth Avenue Raiders, and how they would go from neighborhood to neighborhood playing pick-up football games with friends.
From there, it grew into a love letter to my dad, the middle school students I’ve taught over the years, my favorite childhood cartoons (like HEY ARNOLD!, RECESS, PROUD FAMILY, and DEXTER’S LAB), and shy kids (like I was growing up) who struggle with playing outside of their comfort zones. I pay homage to these influences in my life by telling a heartwarming and humorous story about a diverse group of kids navigating uncharted social situations who learn that it’s okay to make mistakes and it’s often a necessary part of growing up

The Goblin Throne by Mel Gillman
Beware the promises you make to the Goblin Queen . . . especially if you plan to break them. An all-new graphic novel!
Beware the promises you make to the Goblin Queen, especially if you plan to break them.
When a young woman makes a pact with the Goblin Queen for peace and safety, she initially thinks herself prepared to pay any price. But when confronted with the true cost of her contract, she flees to start a new life far from the strange old creature, breaking her word. What she does not realize in the moment is that all deer paths lead to the goblin kingdom, and should she desire it, its Queen will always find you.
Mel Gillman’s The Goblin Throne is a 140-page, full color, 6? × 9? hardcover graphic novel intended for adult audiences.
There are far too few Sapphic fairy tales out there, and we’re sick of stories about some dude stalking yet another princess. We want a story about a hot, one-eyed Goblin Queen scouring the earth for the woman that stole her heart and broke a promise. And that’s exactly what The Goblin Throne delivers.
If you like the aesthetic of Over the Garden Wall and the quiet horror of Grimm’s fairy tales, the fanciful and sinister world of The Goblin Throne is for you. Award-winning, critically acclaimed author Mel Gillman sucks you into a world of passion, blood, and betrayal, rendered in their peerless colored pencil illustrations.
You’ll hold your breath as the woman’s young son walks right into the Goblin Queen’s trap. A trap with no regard for him other than a way to get at her. And when the woman’s son finally awakens, bloodied and alone, will he dare to use the hunting skills his long-dead father taught him to save his mother? After all, he once made a promise, too.

Bi Visibility: Bi Bi Bi – A Bisexual Comic Book Anthology
Exploring: Gender Identity, Bi Erasure, Demisexuality, Bi Rep in Media, Tabletop, Sports, Frankenstein, Post-Apocalyptic, and more!
As a bisexual creator myself, this is one of the most important projects I’ve ever worked on. Growing up, I had very little bisexual representation. I knew the label existed, but I didn’t know what it looked like, how it felt, or that Icould be bisexual. This was the driving force behind creating this anthology. Representation matters!
This third volume of Bi Visibility welcomes some wonderful creators to help bring this to life. Including the likes of Chris Cantwell (Halt and Catch Fire, Iron Man), Heather Antos (Star Trek), Mike Henderson (Image Comics’ Nailbiter), Jarrett Melendez (Chef’s Kiss), Kate Leth (Patsy Walker: AKA Hellcat, Mall Goth), Rye Hickman (DC Comics’ Bad Dream: A Dreamer Story), Rachael Smith (Wired Up Wrong), Tara Madison Avery (Prism Comics), Alex Brennan-Dent (WEBTOON’s Fantasy High), Dominic Bustamante (DC Comics’ Warriors and a Wee Wonder), Rafi De Sousa (The Little Mermaid & The Pirate Queen), Sara Soler (DC Pride), Johanna Taylor (Penguin’s The Ghostkeeper), and so many more wonderful creators!

(Space) Odyssey #1: Homer’s epic like you’ve never seen it
A retelling of the epic journey of Odysseus back to Ithaca, against all odds & the gods themselves, set in a rich scifi galaxy far away
Everyone has read or seen some version of this tale. The majority of fiction since has been inspired by it directly or indirectly. There’s even the upcoming blockbuster movie by Christopher Nolan coming out later this year.
So why tell this story now and as sci-fi?
Related: Interview: Bruno Catarino – Family & Honour, A Historical Fiction Mini-Graphic-Novel
Our goal when adapting The Odyssey as a sci-fi space opera was to bring it to the 21st century and RECAPTURE the same sense of WONDER and IMPOSSIBLE ODDS that the original had in ancient times.
In the 21st century, the sea has almost no mysteries left. Space does.
In the 21st century, the distance between Troy and Ithaca are almost meaningless, but not if they’re separated by light-years of never-ending void.
In the 21st century, we know there are no Gods who rule the world. Oligarchs do. Algorithms and AI do.
And that’s why, in the 21st century, we chose to retell this story through a sci-fi prism, set in space, in a galaxy far far away… ?
Issue 1 tells the story of the fall of TROY, a planet protected by an impenetrable barrier that not even the combined forces of Greece and Sparta could break, were it not for Odysseus’ strategic mind. Unfortunately for him, this victory is only the beginning of a decade long journey to return to his wife and son in his beloved Ithaca…
You think you know how this story is supposed to go? Think again…

Fox Fires Books 3 and 4
Emilia Ojala’s all-ages adventure inspired by Finnish mythologies about a young raccoon dog’s quest to find her family continues.
Hi! Welcome to another Fox Fires book Kickstarter! This time we’re getting two of them in the same campaign, which is new and exciting!
In these books we explore a lot what this new traveling companion, Hiili, is all about. Why is he so insecure yet mysterious about his past and who he is. We also meet some old friends from previous books and learn more about Finnish mythological creatures of course!
Making stuff for this campaign was again so much fun! It was a nice challenge to combine these two books’ stories and color palettes together. Besides this being my first campaign for two books, this was also my first campaign that I worked on while also working on my short film, since I’m studying animation now. I’m so glad I got to make these despite my busy schedule, and I really like how all the merch turned out! I hope you do too! Huge thank you if you decide to back this project, it shows that there’s still demand for animal stories in this world!
FOX FIRES is a fantasy-adventure comic that’s heavily inspired by Finnish folklore. “Fox Fires” refers to Northern Lights; it’s basically a literal translation from the Finnish word “revontulet.” (Revontulet = Repo’s fires. Repo is a nickname for a fox in the Finnish language.)
The Fox Fires are a gate between this world and the land of the dead – it allows souls to visit their loved ones. But suddenly, the Fox Fires disappear. Our main character, a young raccoon dog named Raate, heads north to find what’s happened to Repo, the fire fox whose burning fur is said to make the Fox Fires appear in the sky. On her journey, Raate meets all kinds of weird creatures, and also new friends.
The story is told from an animal’s perspective, taking us deep into nature. The comic addresses the relationship between humans and nature, friendships, family, self-growth, and, of course, teaching readers about Finnish folklore. So, if you’re into folklore, cute animals, and heartwarming adventures, we think you might like this story!

The Adventure continues with our fourth epic collection of tales of comics and vast galleries of glorious art from a master of the craft!
Bo has long been a fan of classic horror (more the thriller kind than the slasher kind, mind you), and has a deep love of the original Universal Monsters, which he likes to pay tribute to in the many works on display:
SIGHT UNSEEN: Ghosts
RIVEN: Werewolves
VERDILAK: Vampires
CASTLE OF THE BAT: Frankenstein
Additionally, Bo’s new saga, 3 DEVILS incorporates multiple elements, including the ancient Zuvembie concept (which predates modern takes on Zombies), and partnering with Robert Tinnell, Bo’s exquisitely drawn DEMONS OF SHERWOOD blends many horror elements with the Robin Hood legend!
This new collection will be an over-sized (8.5×11) hardcover book with over 150 pages!!
The book includes rare insights into a 4 decade plus career, with a brand-new interview that sheds light on how he broke into comics after working as an art assistant to comic masters like Al Williamson and Will Eisner!
