Poster Boy
by Coop
POSTER BOY is going to be huge (literally!) 11? x 14?, 312 pages, this new book will focus on all of my rock and roll related work – gig posters, flyers, record covers and everything else associated with the last 40 YEARS (you read that right) that I’ve been making art.

The larger format was chosen to really show off the 250+ silkscreen prints that I’ve done over the years, with almost every one given a full page. We’ve shot new hi resolution photos of all the prints from my personal archive, and I think they’re gonna look better in print than they ever have before!
For fans of his iconic devil character, to his tour posters and other unmistakable artwork, this book is a career retrospective for the generational artist Coop, and is recommended for mature readers.

10 Lost Days – The End Of Magic
In the 16th Century, as the Julian Calendar changed to Gregorian, 10 days were skipped. This is the story of those lost days.

But what happened in those 10 days while the world slept?
In 1582, when all gods and mythologies are real, and science and magic coexist, a mysterious spell freezes all people and deities in place. Only a young astronomer, Sophya Brahe – sister to Danish court astronomer Tycho Brahe – will be able to save humanity.
She is belatedly warned by a Fairy named Kirsten, of an evil plan to syphon all magic from the world. Sophia receives a magic crystal and the mission to cross Europe in 240 hours, to undo the threat.
On her quest she manages to unite a small group that includes a Nordic god, a forest sprite, a Greek goddess and a Golem of Prague.
Together they courageously confront powerful supernatural beings allied to the Russian armies of Ivan the Terrible – who is set to execute the world’s largest magic heist and only has these 10 lost days to make it work.
The clock is ticking!

Seth Green’s Freshmen: 20th Anniversary Hardcover Edition
Seth Green and Hugh Sterbakov’s superpowered tale in a collected hardcover graphic novel that includes an all-new one-shot.
Originally published in 2006, Freshmen follows a group of socially awkward college students who survive a strange laboratory accident and emerge with superpowers inspired by whatever they were thinking about at the moment of the explosion. Equal parts superhero adventure, college comedy, and coming-of-age story, Freshmen explores what happens when ordinary young people are handed extraordinary abilities without the experience, maturity, or confidence to handle them.
Twenty years after its original debut, Freshmen returns at a time when audiences have embraced more grounded and character-driven superhero stories. The series combined humor, friendship, insecurity, and genuine emotional stakes with unconventional powers and large-scale comic-book action, offering an irreverent alternative to traditional capes-and-tights storytelling.

Headlining this Kickstarter campaign is the all-new Freshmen: 20th Anniversary Reunion Special, an original 32-page comic written by series creators Seth Green and Hugh Sterbakov with artwork by original series artist Leonard Kirk. Set during the classmates’ twentieth reunion, the story reunites the original cast as they reflect on adulthood, friendship, old romances, and one hilariously disastrous mission they never quite managed to forget. The new story is included in the collection and is also available as a standalone one-shot!
Freshmen: The Complete Collection includes:
- Freshmen, Vol. 1 – 6 issues
- Freshmen, Vol. 2: Fundamentals of Fear – 6 issues, plus the digital-exclusive Issue #1.5
- Freshmen Summer Vacation Special
- All-new, 32-page Freshmen: 20th Anniversary Reunion Special
- Plus bonus material previously printed in Freshmen Yearbook

HAUNTING #1-8 – Showdown at the Ghost Prison GRAND FINALE
GHOST HUNTER, Hope, must team up with Bram, the Bratty SUPERNATURAL TEEN she tried to KILL, to take down her POSSESSED EX-GIRLFRIEND
Lifeline Comics is back with the FINAL ISSUE of their Supernatural Horror Series – written by Phil Falco and featuring art by Mauricio Mora!
Wherever bratty teenage boy Bram goes, ghosts appear – restless spirits that attack the living viciously and without prejudice. Bram’s spent his entire life turning a blind eye to the destruction and death caused by his strange ability. He didn’t ask for this curse, so (by his logic, at least) none of it is his fault.
Everything comes to a head in this 24-page finale, where Bram is forced to team up with Hope, the no-nonsense Ghost Hunter who nearly KILLED him the last time they crossed paths, in order to stand up against the Possessed Caitlin who is (literally) out for his blood.

Can Bram & Hope put aside their differences long enough to escape the haunted prison they’re trapped in? Can Hope’s twin sister Faith put her burgeoning necromancy skills to good use? Or will all three of our heroes join the ranks of the dead that they fight against? Find out in HAUNTING #8!
Like every issue of HAUNTING, this installment has HORROR, COMEDY, ACTION, and HEART! If you’re a fan of character-driven horror with a sense of humor, you don’t want to miss out on this series!

Mashbone & Grifty Vol 2: HAT STORY
Our Hilarious Homies are back in an ALL-NEW adventure that takes them around New Brownsville to uncover the story… the HAT STORY!
Friends and new friends, it’s been a while since we last spoke. Long story short, we lived, we laughed, we loved, we made comics. There were ups and downs, a couple all-arounds, and you know what? The 5 Meats are just not meant for anything else except storytelling.

As luck would have it, our previous employers probably felt the same way when it came time to wish us well in our future endeavors. Another sad casualty of greedy CEO’s newfound AI fetish.
But hey, we don’t do sad stories! We do action-packed action-comedy, and everybody knows that a shut window can be a door if you run head-first into it. With YOUR HELP, we can swim through that window, away from the sinking ship that holds the international-waters’ rat races, and find ourselves on the Island of Relevancy that is destiny: to create Graphic Novels and Comics for the world FULL TIME!
So with that being said:
5 Meats Comics, home of the funniest comics today, is pleased to announce our second Kickstarter:
MASHBONE & GRIFTY VOLUME TWO: A HAT STORY!
Our goal is to raise $6,100 to print a MEATY MONSTER of a comic, telling a story of finding ones true self in a den of doubt, danger, and yes, killer livestock!

DENIS KITCHEN: Three Comics Collections
Three risograph-printed issues collecting underground cartoonist Denis Kitchen’s comics from the 1960s through today.
Risography printing is sort of a cross between screen printing and duplicator machines you find in offices and Kinko’s. It was originally intended to be an inexpensive way of color photocopying for schools and businesses back in the ’80s, but artists have found it an invaluable tool for creating art prints, ‘zines, comics, and more.

Riso machines print one or two colors at a time using plant-based inks resulting in an imperfect charm: ink texture and misregistration make each print one-of-a-kind!

Fireproof Issue 1: Heroes and Havoc
A 28-page superhero comic that is grounded, dark, and inevitable.
On the same night Seer City spirals out of control, two men walk in opposite directions.
One is learning how to hold back.
The other is learning there’s no reason to.
Fireproof #1 is a creator-owned comic book launching the next phase of the SeerNova universe.
This issue follows two men on opposite paths after a single night changes everything:
John Benson, trying to learn control before his power destroys him

Mathew Harding, whose restraint is gone—and who has embraced what the world now calls a monster
This story is dark, grounded, and consequence-driven, focusing on choices, fallout, and escalation rather than spectacle or reboots.

Universal Champion #1—A Sci-fi Comedy About our dumb brains
When an insecure wrestler gets drafted into a galactic fighting competition, he must overcome his self-doubt to become a real champion.
ick Riley is a world-famous professional wrestler. He’s sold out arenas across the globe. Stores can’t keep his merchandise in stock.
And none of that means anything to him. His self-doubt and the shadow of his even-more-famous father cause him to turn every win into a loss.

So when Rick is mistakenly abducted by aliens and thrust into a universe-wide fighting competition, he immediately says yes. Far away from his father and impossible expectations, he can finally find the type of success that leads to true contentment.
Or can he?
Universal Champion is a comedic, energetic, heartfelt love letter to sci-fi, wrestling, and the daily fight against our dumb, dumb, super-dumb brains.
Think Galaxy Quest meets The Wrestler.
It’s brought to life by George O’Connor (writer), Fernando Pinto (artist), JP Jordan (colors), and Justin Birch (letters).
And for the first issue, we have two killer variant covers from superstar Marguerite Sauvage and Marvel artist Federica Mancin! (more on these covers in a second)
Universal Champion #1 is complete!
All we need to know is how many copies to print and where to send them.

Louise Sprouse Stole My Heart
A coming-of-age hitman comic from the three time Eisner nominated cartoonist Kyle Starks (END OF LIFE, RICK AND MORTY, LOBO, PEACEMAKER
Archie Winters is the best hitman on the planet. A cold-hearted man who lets nothing or nobody get close. But the last hit went wrong and now he’s on the run with a precious diamond. Unsure where to go, he hides out at the motel where his family would summer as a kid and finds himself transported back to his youth, the memories formed here, the friendships, the bullies, the victories, the losses, the childhood loves.
But now Archie—on the run, a killer for hire with a priceless jewel—runs into that childhood love, Louise Sprouse, in the same summer tourist town he saw her last, now grown up.
And she is going to steal his heart.
A hitman coming-of-age story with tons of heart and over-the-top graphic violence

In 2020 during the pandemic, I made a digital comic based on suggestions from my fans and followers which became KARATE PROM. I liked the experiment so much I did it again in 2021 with the suggested title LOUISE SPROUSE STOLE MY HEART (AND I HAVE TWO HOURS TO GET IT BACK) which has been a pay-what-you-want comic since then.
THE BOOK IS ENTIRELY COMPLETED AND READY TO PRINT!
But I’ve always wanted it in physical form. A 48-page, full story, single shot comic doesn’t really have a place in today’s comic publishing universe so I knew one day I would have to do it myself and we’re finally doing it! I’ve re-drawn a ton of original art, added pages, made a new cover, did ton of new interior design and I toned the pages black and white with an added a pop of spot red (like Sin City). I think the toning + color came out awesome:
