Jim Lee’s artwork has defined comics for generations of fans. His explosive lines and detailed layouts forever changed the visual language of super heroes.

In this deluxe hardcover, we’ve dug deep into the Marvel Vaults to create the definitive account of Jim Lee’s unparalleled years at Marvel, from the early days of Alpha Flight and the Punisher through his legendary run on X-Men to his return with Heroes Reborn.

Compiled by writer-editor Stuart Moore, this gorgeous oversized hardcover gives you the art along with the stories behind the art.

This is his legacy: collected, curated, and built for display.

Jim Lee became one of Marvel Comics’ defining artists of the early 1990s, rising to superstardom through his dynamic, highly detailed work on The Uncanny X-Men. His bold figure work, cinematic action, and intricate costume designs helped shape the visual identity of the era. In 1991, Lee and writer Chris Claremont launched X-Men #1, which became, and remains, the best-selling comic book issue of all time and cemented Lee as one of the most influential artists in comics. During his time at Marvel, Jim Lee delivered work that felt bigger, louder, and more detailed than anything on the stands. Characters carried more weight. Action hit harder. It was a new era of superheroes

In the Marvel Artist Archive: Jim Lee, the latest officially licensed Marvel title from PUG Worldwide, we proudly present a deluxe oversized hardcover art book focused exclusively on Jim Lee’s Marvel years. A curated experience for fans, collectors, and art lovers alike.

Inside this massive tome, you’ll find:

All meticulously produced to showcase the power and precision of Jim Lee’s Marvel work.

When gritty anime protagonist, Lady Vengeance, is brought to the real world by a super fan, she’ll learn there’s more to life than darkness and revenge…and she’ll find love with the super fan’s twin sister – a closeted cheerleader.

Slice of Life is a queer romance that deconstructs the “slice of life” genre, unpacking the importance of “day in the life” narratives to tell a larger story about the meaning of life from the point of view of a formerly-fictional character.

This new 60-page Issue collects Chapters 64-74 of the Webtoon – plus a brand new 4-page Bonus Chapter not available on Webtoon/Tapas (more on that later)!

In this issue the anime character who comes to life takes on a summer program in Japan, and faces the challenges of long distance with her cheerleader girlfriend now turned softball player. Also sparks begin to fly between bully turned best friend, Kris, and anime nerd, Ravyn.

Black Cobra: Most Wanted

The Black Cobra returns in 2 feature length stories!

Current Funding: $1,308
Funding Goal: $500
Days Left: 12
Link: Black Cobra: Most Wanted

Black Cobra is one of the most resilient heroes in the Grok Comics universe. Unlike heroes defined by overwhelming power, Black Cobra’s stories focus on endurance, recovery, mentorship, and personal growth. His experiences with captivity, torture, and trauma have shaped him into a protector who helps younger heroes avoid the mistakes and suffering he endured.

He serves as a bridge between generations of heroes, often acting as a counselor, trainer, and role model rather than simply a frontline combatant.

lack Cobra first appeared during the events of The Remnant #2. During a covert mission, he was captured by the monstrous villain Nephilim VI and held prisoner for weeks. Subjected to prolonged torture and abuse, Cobra was pushed to his physical and emotional limits before ultimately being rescued by The Apostle.

This experience became the defining event of his life. Rather than allowing the trauma to consume him, Black Cobra transformed his suffering into a source of empathy and strength, becoming one of the most compassionate heroes in the Remnant universe.

The Death of Bobby Hart – SECOND PRINTING!!!

A graphic novella so nice it has to be printed twice!

Current Funding: $919
Funding Goal: $2,100
Days Left: 22
Link: The Death of Bobby Hart – SECOND PRINTING!!!

Help fund the second print run of The Death of Bobby Hart. This is the exact same story as the first print run — a 68-page main story, and more than thirty pages on back matter, including the original short “Hart of the Matter” that inspired the longer story. The main story of The Death of Bobby Hart, written by yours truly, David F. Walker (co-creator of Bitter Root), with art by Dietrich Smith, Craig Johnson II, colors by Chris Sotomayor, and cover by Canaan White, is 100% the same. Only the back matter has been slightly changed (I fixed a few spelling errors, and rearranged some of the pages for a better flow). The book itself is completely done, and now it is just a matter of sending files to the printer.

Inspired by a true story, The Death of Bobby Hart is a neo-noir crime thriller about the murder of pulp writer Bobby Hart, the undisputed king of 1970s “street literature” books such as Pimp Wars and Confessions of a Junkie. With more than a dozen books to his name, Bobby Hart is working on the most recent installment in his popular GHETTO AVENGER series when he and his pregnant wife are brutally gunned down in their home. But who killed Bobby and why? And what do his books–gritty, hard-boiled crime thrillers set in the world of gangsters, dope dealers, pimps, and ghetto vigilantes–have to do with his murder?

LetterMyComic Pro comic lettering that lives in your browser

Letter your comic like the pros — balloons, SFX, and print-ready pages, right in the browser. Your art never leaves your machine.

Current Funding: $1,098
Funding Goal: $100
Days Left: 28

The Pitch

Comic lettering tools are stuck in the past. The desktop apps letterers loved are abandoned or Mac-only, the pro route means wrestling a $600 design suite that was never built for balloons, and the “easy” web tools can’t produce a page a printer will accept.

LetterMyComic is a full comic lettering studio that runs entirely in your browser. No installs, no subscriptions to a suite you use 10% of, no uploading your unpublished pages to someone’s cloud. Open a tab, drop in your art, letter your book, export print-ready pages.

We built it the way hand-inked lettering actually works — studied from real letterers’ work, not from a clip-art library.

Why Backers Should Care

  • It already works. This isn’t a mockup — the editor, the fills engine, the export pipeline, and the font library are live today. Your pledge finishes the job and keeps it independent.
  • Your art stays yours. Everything renders locally in the browser. Pages are never uploaded to our servers to be “processed.”
  • Print parity is sacred. What you see in the editor is what the PNG, the TIFF, and the PDF print — one shared rendering engine, pixel for pixel.

Word balloons that behave like ink

  • A full balloon family — speech, whisper (dashed), thought, double-outline, shout bursts, rough and sketchy pen styles, buzz, TV/radio, cosmic dot-border, emitter rings, captions, rounded boxes, and pill “extend” balloons.
  • Draw your own balloon — sketch any outline by hand and it becomes a real balloon with a spliced tail, speech or thought style.
  • Joined balloons done right. Connected bubbles share an open connector — no stroke crossing the junction, exactly like hand-inked lettering. Bands stay slim and parallel, curve smoothly as you drag, and you can tilt the connector’s angle with a dedicated axis control.
  • Join in any order. Drop a tail tip inside another bubble to link them — chains, stars, a third bubble hung off an existing pair. Overlap two joined bubbles and they melt into one shape; pull them apart and the band returns.
  • Styles flow across joins. A gradient spans the whole joined group as one sweep — no restart seam where bubbles meet.
  • Speaker tails with craft — aim the tip, bend the curve, keep the point on the character while the connector falls behind it.
  • Auto-fit — balloons grow to hold their text as you type, and can snap to fit on command.
