RNM Press is thrilled to announce the launch of the Kickstarter campaign for Bixby Grant: Fangs & Brimstone #4, the next chapter series writer and creator Patrick Coyle’s celebrated supernatural noir, blending hardboiled detective fiction, occult horror, and monster politics into a sharp, character-driven mystery.
It’s pulp fanfare with a twist of supernatural noir stories with a genre twist! Dedicated to fans of Hellboy, The Spirit, Batman: The Animated Series, The Goon, Gotham Central, and B.P.R.D.
Bixby Grant: Fangs & Brimstone is a six-issue follow-up to the successful graphic novel Bixby Grant, Private Eye: Wolf, She Cried.
The inaugural tale debuted on Kickstarter in October 2022 to great success, fully funding in just 12 hours and ultimately reaching 257% of its original goal.

Issue #4 features pencils and inks by Chilean artist Gonzalo Martínez (Road Story, The Quique Hache Detective), colorist Arthur Hesli (Thunderbolts, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers), and editor Heather Antos, with cover art by Declan Shalvey (Immortal Hulk, Thundercats) and Elsa Charretier (Harley Quinn, Star Wars). Letters by Coyle.
Issue #4 also continues the eight-page backup Zombietown, featuring art by Argentinian artist Gonzalo Ruggieri (Rumble, Convert, Two Moons), which follows Detective Maritza Ramirez deep into the undead-controlled quarantine zone known as Z-Town, where her search for the truth behind her father’s disappearance puts her face-to-face with Il Cosa Muerte, the zombie mafia
Along with the Kickstarter announcement, creator Patrick Coyle, who sees Issue #4 as the moment Bix can no longer outrun his past, said:
“Bix is a member of the Silent Generation, which means he doesn’t talk about his feelings. Ever. Pain and trauma are locked away and ignored. But in Issue 4 of Fangs & Brimstone, Bix’s worst fears are realized – he uncovers proof that someone has taken up the mantle of his long-lost brother Max’s cult, and they plan to unleash Hell on Earth.
