Mad Cave Studios and their Maverick imprint are proud to announce the return of an acclaimed series, now published for YA audiences with the reprint of The Last Session, Vol 1: Roll For Initiative and the upcoming The Last Session Vol. 2: Rerolled, written by Jasmine Walls and illustrated by DozerDraws.

For fans of Critical Role and Dungeons & Dragons The Last Session, Vol 1: Roll For Initiative reprints the young adult graphic novel about the struggles of a group of friends playing tabletop roleplaying games when one member brings their girlfriend to the very last session.

Writer Jasmine Walls, a California based writer, artist, and hot chocolate connoisseur with a passion for stories that are fun, engaging, and critical and whose works are unapologetically queer, inclusive, and span across several genres, said about The Last Session:

Artist Dozerdraws, a nonbinary illustrator, comic artist and bird parent from Germany, has done work on BOOM! Jay, Lana, Drew, Walter, and Shen began playing Dice & Deathtraps in high school.
