Collected for the very first time in an original graphic novel, enter the world of wild west adventurer Ortensia Thomas, AKA the Woman in Black, as she faces vampires, witches, demons, outlaws, and all the other evils of a paranormal new frontier! It’s Supernatural meets The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly!
Revisit the story that started it all with the exploits of the Woman in Black and Alexander Wortham the Reluctant Vampire as they right wrongs in a weird west too strange for just anyone to handle! Whether it’s a town under siege by the nefarious outlaw Red Tom or a bloodthirsty cult worshipping the canine prophet Samual, this gothic duo is there to do the right thing. Even if Alexander will complain the entire time.

Then enjoy the critically acclaimed sequel detailing Ortensia’s thrilling origin story. Raised as the petulant adopted daughter of the eccentric witch Sarah Bishop, our hero finds herself forced to grow up. When a mysterious man from her mother’s past has returned for reasons unknown, the mother-daughter duo come into conflict with each other over Ortensia’s future. No matter the outcome, all roads lead to the Woman in Black!

With a strong cult following and excellent reception, help us bring MIDNIGHT WESTERN THEATRE back to comic book fans in this epic tome of a book. Collecting all ten original issues and additional supplementary material, we’re looking at roughly 240-pages of Weird West action! With your support, we can finally make a trade paperback version featuring every single comic issue from the original series. Yee-haw, partner! This town IS big enough for all of us as we work together to bring Ortensia home!

Not only will this include all original ten issues of MIDNIGHT WESTERN THEATRE, it will feature concept art, variant covers, sketches, and more. This is the ideal package for any longtime or new fan of the series!

When the cocky and entitled Dylan Jax joins the Cosmic Protection Bureau and is assigned to bullshit busywork alongside a grumpy alien vet, he’s forced to confront the reality that his great destiny was just a lie his mommy fed him, and that the organization he’s committed his life to isn’t as benevolent as it claims to be.

SHITKICKERS is a series that lives somewhere between the humor of the Jump Street films and the high-stakes action of Guardians of the Galaxy—with a little Starship Troopers for garnish.

But underneath the dick jokes and bad attitudes, this is a story about fighting against a system designed to oppress, even if it takes you a while to realize the side you should be fighting for isn’t the side you’re on. It’s about finding your place in the universe with a little help from your friends and the importance of chosen family. It’s about telling your past to fuck off so you can carve out your own future.

The COSMIC PROTECTION BUREAU (CPB) is an intergalactic police force that uses a Silver Age-style comic book called SPACE COPS as propaganda to draft recruits into service, human and alien alike. But the truth of the CPB is far removed from the romanticized version found in these recruitment comics—the CPB is dirty and corrupt, a problematic organization that prioritizes protecting its own over their sworn duty to serve and protect.

Our story centers around two of these space cops: DYLAN JAX, a hot-headed, brash go-getter eager for action, and SKIZZ, a veteran alien in a career backslide who’s comfortable toiling away in the Bowels of THE PRECINCT, the homeplanet of the CPB. She’s a self-described SHITKICKER, aka the Being doing the most menial tasks possible. When the cocky Dylan is assigned to do bullshit busywork with Skizz, he’s forced to confront the reality that his great destiny was just a lie his mommy fed him, and the organization he’s committed his life to isn’t as benevolent as it claims to be. Bored out of his gourd and trigger happy, Dylan kidnaps Skizz to go on a mission to crack open one of his new partner’s cold cases that sends them spiraling down a wormhole of intergalactic conspiracies, dirty cops, and big-time daddy issues.

SHITKICKERS is a series that lives somewhere between the humor of the Jump Street films and the high-stakes action of Guardians of the Galaxy—with a little Starship Troopers for garnish, and it sounds like this. If you like comics such as Fear Agent, Wasted Space, or Scud the Disposable Assassin, we think you’ll dig this too. But underneath the dick jokes and bad attitudes, this is a story about fighting against a system designed to oppress, even if it takes you a while to realize the side you should be fighting for isn’t the side you’re on. It’s about finding your place in the universe with a little help from your friends and the importance of chosen family. It’s about telling your past to screw off so you can carve out your own future. Muhammad Ali: The Greatest Comics Biography of All Time

Volume 1: Cassius Clay

Current Funding: $5,589
Funding Goal: $5,000
Days Left: 7
Link: Muhammad Ali: The Greatest Comics Biography of All Time

Muhammad Ali: The Greatest Comics Biography of All Time Volume 1: Cassius Clay is a thoroughly researched, fact-based dramatization of the life and legacy of Muhammad Ali.  Volume 1 chronicles the period of his life that he was known as Cassius Clay. Beginning with his childhood in Louisville, Kentucky, it follows his early days as an up-and-coming contender and concludes shortly after his heavyweight title match against Sonny Liston in 1964.

Based on dozens of biographies, documentaries and articles, this comics biography is a thorough, factual account of Ali’s early life.   The goal of this book is to present Muhammad Ali’s life story and cultural significance in an engaging and accessible format.

his project began in 2016 with a 2-year research period, followed by many, many drafts of the script (and then more research and eventually, a final draft).  It became clear early in the process of researching Ali’s life that he was much more than a boxer.  He was a cultural icon, a champion of racial justice, a spiritual and political force, and one of the most charming, clever and charismatic people who ever lived.   He embodied different eras, travelled the world, impacted multiple generations and is as relevant today as ever.  As such, it also became clear that it would take a lot of pages of comics for this project to fulfill its goal of being as substantial and comprehensive as any written biography about Ali.  The final draft came in at just over 400 pages.  In order to make the project manageable, the book was split into 2 volumes: Volume 1 was roughly 150 pages and covered the years that he was known as Cassius Clay.  The script for volume 2 is around 250 pages long, beginning with him changing his name to Muhammad Ali and following his story up until his death in 2016.  The script for both volumes was completed in 2018.

As the illustrations for Volume 1 neared completion, the project was submitted to a number of publishers.  A few publishers expressed a desire to publish the book, but always as a single 400 page volume, not as 2 shorter books.  None of the publishers who wanted to release this book could offer enough of an advance to complete the project, which up until that point had been self-funded and supported by a Patreon campaign (as a side note, I began this project as a single guy living in an apartment. During the course of this project, I have gotten married and had 2 kids, which makes it much harder to justify spending my life savings on the creation of a graphic novel). This led to the decision to release the completed Volume 1 through Kickstarter.  This campaign’s goal is to produce a printed version of Volume 1, with a potential stretch goal of creating a pathway to completing Volume 2 so that the entire book can finally be released by a publisher.

Get My Head Straight: First Looks 2025

A digital grab bag of first issues and an all new memoir comic

Current Funding: $1,473
Funding Goal: $2,000
Days Left: 17
Link: Get My Head Straight: First Looks 2025
This is a campaign for two things. One is a way to structure my new graphic novel that explores the drive to make comics and never stop moving. The other is to offer new readers a cheap way to dip their toe into my massive body of work from the past two years.
This project is for a new memoir piece called ‘Get My head Straight’ in which I grapple with the shifting reality of this chaotic world, the very real possibility that I might be burning out, and how on Earth I’m meant to make a comic while running a Kickstarter campaign for the comic that the comic is about…but then there’s the twist.
This comic will be being made in real time and updated for the campaign as pages are produced and the story shifts and changes, so the sooner you back, the sooner you get to see the growing and sprawling nature of the book as it interacts with my life and the campaign in (as close to) real time.
I’ve made a lot of comics in my life – some about ghosts, a lot about a dinosaur, and a whole bunch you might find hard to categorize. There’s an idea in traditional publishing that you shouldn’t put out too many books by the same person because you’ll just cannibalize your own market. Well, life is finite and I don’t want to be stuck here as a ghost still peddling my wares. Ghost time is for scaring people and cheating at mazes.

So, I have instead put out over 300 books (many through traditional publishers) and now I’m facing up to the reality that a lot of people have no idea where to begin.

Welcome to the grab bag.

There are 10 first issue PDFs up for grabs, and you get to choose if you want 1, 3, 7 or all 10 (along with the digital, and at one tier physical copy of the new book).

The Night Slayers is a monster of the week style supernatural drama comic book created and written by Matthew Kreke.

Matthew is a seasoned author and is now branching into writing comic books, with The Night Slayers being his first. This comic has been illustrated by Andrew Hoch, a prolific artist in the indie CCG space. His unique art style gives The Night Slayers a standout atmosphere.

Our project is to drum up interest for our pilot issue of the Night Slayers. Issue #1 is already written and illustrated, we are simply using Kickstarter as a way to reach out to people and help us figure out what the demand is. In addition, we are hoping to fund future books with the money raised in this campaign.

When a child vanishes, the skeptical Officer Johnathon Stone reluctantly hands the case to paranormal investigators Carl Vincent and Emily Niles. Can the Night Slayers solve the mystery?

Beer & Bullets: Crossover Event

Beer & Bullets is an epic crossover event between Malone, Pinpoint & Subject Zero.
Current Funding: $971
Funding Goal: $3,500
Days Left: 25
Link: Beer & Bullets: Crossover Event

Welcome comic book fans! Six Fifteen Comics, Advent Comics, and Page One Comics have join forces to bring you an EPIC crossover event, BEER AND BULLETS. This comic is 48 pages of eye catching action and witty banter between Subject Zero (Six Fifteen Comics), Pinpoint (Page One Comics), and Dalton Malone (Advent Comics).

If action, guns, and explosives are your thing, this is the comic for you. Beer & Bullets takes inspiration from comic book characters like Blade, Punisher, Spawn and movies like Die Hard, Rambo, and The Expendables.

After handling their own set of issues separately, Subject Zero, Dalton Malone, and Pinpoint meet up at The Crossover Bar for a few drinks.

Little do they know, they are being targeted by a deadly assassin, named Phantom Tech, whose skin is infused with nanotech. The nanotech give him enhanced strength, and  agility and the nanites are able to heal him from ALMOST any injury. If you’re a fan of Valiant Comics, think of him as an evil Bloodshot with a nanotech suit.

Subject Zero, Pinpoint & Dalton Malone must work together to fight their way out of the Bar. But the question is, which one of them is the target?

This is a fun crossover between creators who want to see their characters interact. Beer & Bullets will have no affect on our separate comicbook universes. It’s a stand-alone story similar to a DC Comics Elseworld Story.
