A 76-page anthology comic from a spectrum of creators, Prodigy Comics #1 introduces a new universe of superheroes, aliens, and magic. This book takes the classic anthology format of the 1930s and 1940s Golden Age comics, but with stories aimed at the diversity of modern audiences.
In a time where it feels impossible to get new readers into comics, Prodigy Comics is an anthology that offers a fresh, new universe for people to explore, free from the burden of extensive continuity, retcons, and reboots. These stories introduce new superheroes, gritty underdog avengers, cursed teenagers, and even a reinvention of a milestone character from the forgotten annals of comics history.
These new characters come from a variety of backgrounds, as do their creators. Queer people and people of color, especially, are integral to the fabric of this world. Our world.
This new storytelling odyssey offer a refreshing perspective on an age-old practice of telling myths through the page. With your help, we can make this dream a reality.

Thunder Guardian
The Earth has been destroyed. Civilization has been scattered throughout the solar system. The future of humanity has only one hope– THUNDER GUARDIAN!
Join father-son team of Reilly Brown (Deadpool, Batman/Fortnite: Zero Point) and Will Brown (grade schooler) as they tell the story of Thunder Guardian and his friends, and their battle against space pirates, monster boogers, and the forces of the evil Unknown!
For the past two years Will (currently in the 3rd grade) has been designing characters and telling stories to his comic book artist father, Reilly, who has been drawing them as comic strips for the newspaper A Kid and A Comic. This book collects those adventures in one place for the first time, and includes additional brand new material as well. Here’s what the contents will be:
18 pages of the original comic strip, 3-5 pages of a new story, 3-5 pages of a story where Reilly writes it and Will draws it, 2-4 pages of character bios/stats, 2-4 pages of process stuff (like Will’s sketches of characters and Reilly’s interpretations)
For fans of DEADPOOL, who are looking for something equally humorous and action-packed, but maybe they can share with the kids in their life who have a more DOG MAN sense of humor. Similar to AXE COP, but with superheroes. If you like aliens and space pirates, this book is for you. If you like monster boogers, this book is especially for you.

After the death of her grandfather, Laura decides to return to the quiet town she once called home. A fresh start awaits her as she reunites with her parents and younger sister, but Laura’s heart is set on one person—her aging grandmother, Lilian, who has always been her source of wisdom and strength. However, as Laura settles into her grandparents’ home, she begins to uncover old secrets surrounding her family’s legacy. Lilian, though frail, seems to hold the key to a mystery that stretches back generations—a legacy entwined with power.
As Laura pieces together her grandmother’s past, she begins to realize that her return home was no mere coincidence. The revelations she uncovers could not only reshape her understanding of her family’s history, but also her own identity, forcing her to confront painful truths, hidden dangers, and a destiny she never knew awaited her.

Suddenly, they’re no longer just regular kids—they’re the Street Knights, warriors bound to protect the universe’s balance.
But this newfound power comes with a cost. An ancient evil, long buried, has also awakened. Joro’k, an evil Galactic Overlord, will stop at nothing to reclaim the power of the eggs for himself, threatening to destroy the universe and create anew..
Thrown together by destiny, the teens must figure out how to work as a team, harness their powers, and rise to the challenge. Along the way, they’ll discover that being a hero isn’t just about fighting—it’s about who you are, what you stand for, and how far you’re willing to go to protect the ones you care about.

The Coyote on Peyote
A full color graphic novel about an immigrant woman breaking free from a polygamist sex cult.
The Coyote on Peyote is a horror comic based on one Mexican immigrant’s journey joining and escaping a polygamist sex cult. Yvette Arturo is brought into The Oasis cult, a group of women and children that live in the desert following the spiritual leadership and direction of one man. Ervil Green.
Ervil Green is known by local law enforcement, but his spiritual and sexual practice isn’t exactly a crime. With the law held at arms length and the reasoning of his victims distorted; Ervil can only be stopped through super natural intervention.
The Coyote on Peyote.
I started writing The Coyote on Peyote in 2021 and finished within a couple of months, several edits later I shelved the project while I worked on creating the first issue of Breakbeat.
After finding a reliable team and gaining a better understanding of how to properly create comics, I decided it was time to give life to The Coyote on Peyote as Breakbeat Studios’ first graphic novel.
The entire project up until this point has been self funded, but after a recent layoff I don’t have the excess funds to put into the printing of the project. I’ve turned to Kickstarter in a first attempt to pay for the printing of The Coyote on Peyote.
The fundraising is for the cost of a first printing (250 copies) along with paying for the production of the comic.
After reaching the goal I’ll shut down the fundraiser and make all of the remaining copies available on my website www.breakbeatstudios.com
