Long Dark Winter #3
A town trapped in endless night. A sheriff hunting a nightmare. Ancient horrors lurking in the dark. Welcome to Long Dark Winter
Hope Falls has been swallowed by a winter that never ends. People disappear. Shadows move where they shouldn’t. The sheriff investigates a string of grisly murders, but the deeper he digs, the more he realizes the killer may not be human.
The creative team that brought you the FALLEN series (Red 5 Comics) is back again and this time turning up the terror!

Ted Fallon used to be one of Boston’s top cops, a rising star investigator, that is until one day an emergency called him away. Ted’s sister fell in with the wrong element and was battling addiction, a battle she was losing. Ted found himself in the small, quaint town of Hope Falls Vermont, nestled in the northern end of the Appalachian Mountains
Ted began a new life as the town’s sheriff so he could be closer to his sister and look after her. All was quiet and peaceful until the day when the sun set one last time over the town…that’s when Ted’s nightmare only began.
Long Dark Winter is a 24 page moody, gritty, black and white horror comic available in print and digital editions. The printed editions will be standard American comic book size printed on high-quality paper.

Horror Not Hate
An anti-fascist, anti-hate anthology of horror comics and art supporting LGBTQIA+ and Immigrant rights!
The United States has spun out of control in the wrong direction. Marginalized people have been demonized and their rights are being violently ripped away in dramatic fashion. Writer J.M. Brandt had gotten sick of hearing one gut-wrenching story after another, seeing people being torn from their families and homes, and witnessing innocent folks trying to live their lives transformed into subhuman scapegoats.
Horror Not Hate is a strike back against all this. Slow Feet Comics has brought a collection of diverse talent from both the comics world, and the greater arts and entertainment world at large, together in order to say, “This is madness. It needs to stop. We need to help the vulnerable.”

The end result is a horror comic anthology/art book hybrid bursting at the binding with terrifying tales and cathartic comeuppance. Many contributors are members of the communities that we are looking to support, and several have been nominated by GLAAD for their previous work.
The stories are based around HATE, FASCISM, TRANSPHOBIA, HOMOPHOBIA, XENOPHOBIA, RACISM, and TOXIC PATRIOTISM. HNH features the storytelling talents of David M. Booher (Ghostbusters), Joshua Pruett (The Last Kids On Earth), Riley Silverman (Doctor Who), Rich Douek (Batman: The Brave and The Bold), and more. The stories are brought to life by the visual prowess of Francesca Fantini (Stake), Caleb Ady (In Bloom), Gerald Von Stoddard (Immortal Coil), Rafael Navarro (Bela Lugosi’s Tales from the Grave), and many more.

1/6: The Graphic Novel – Issue #4
And Still We Rise!
Hey Democracy Defenders and Comic Book Coveters!
At long last, Issue #4 of 1/6: The Graphic Novel is almost here! With your help, Issues #1, #2, and #3 have made news, galvanized everyday people around the country, and (okay, we’ll say it) predicted the future –– from federal troops deployed to our cities to persecution of political rivals and independent judges, to killer drones executing people without trial or evidence. Somehow, we even predicted the reconstruction of the White House to look like a tacky Las Vegas casino. (Even we thought that one was a stretch).

Issue #4, “And Still We Rise” is about the resistance. Our heroes lead a Democracy movement to resist the authoritarian Regime while debating the more perfect union that might replace it. Can they rise above their differences to prevail against violent repression, inner demons and, at times, each other? Help America find out!
Slice of Life #1-8: An Anime Character Brought to Life!
Anime Protagonist, Lady Vengeance, CAME TO LIFE & GOT THE GIRL! What will she do next? Feat. “KPOP DEMON HUNTERS” Homage Cover + Story!
When gritty anime protagonist, Lady Vengeance, is brought to the real world by a super fan, she’ll learn there’s more to life than darkness and revenge…and she’ll find love with the super fan’s twin sister – a closeted cheerleader.
Slice of Life is a queer romance that deconstructs the “slice of life” genre, unpacking the importance of “day in the life” narratives to tell a larger story about the meaning of life from the point of view of a formerly-fictional character.

This new 60-page Issue collects Chapters 53-63 of the Webtoon – plus a brand new 4-page Bonus Chapter not available on Webtoon/Tapas (more on that later)!
Have you ever just wanted your favorite tortured fictional character to just go to therapy already? That’s exactly what happens here! Slice of Life #8 takes a deep dive into Ravyn and her family’s communication issues, Beck and Lucy’s softball rivalry, Kris and Ravyn’s blossoming friendship, and Yuriko makes a life altering decision.

Two years later, fearing her husband’s death, his tenacious wife sets up her own expedition to search for him. Accompanied by the only willing crew—a motley one, including an old admiral coined “The Ship-Wrecker” and her clairvoyant niece—their mission quickly descends into horror as they discover that their destination is an island of legends where many are said to have lost their lives…to the dead.
