The Art Of Descender

This new unfiltered way to experience the gorgeous artwork allows fans to truly get an in depth look into what it took to create the fan favorite series.
is a science fiction space opera comic book series written by Jeff Lemire and illustrated by Dustin Nguyen. The creator-owned series was published by Image Comics. The story follows a young android, TIM-21, trying to survive endless bounty hunters in a universe that has outlawed all robotics and artificial intelligence.
The series received critical acclaim for Lemire’s writing as well as for Nguyen’s artwork, with the latter winning an Eisner Award for his artwork on the series. Descender ran for a total of 32 issues, and its sequel series, Ascender, taking place ten years after the events of Descender, ran for another 18 issues.
This campaign features an oversized 11″ x 14″ 128+ page high-end art book with covers, select artwork from the series, process and preliminary illustrations and behind the scene material from Dustin Nguyen. Plus some amazing extra exclusive items only available here!
Blüd City Street Fight
A wrestling comic that is not a wrestling comic. I love siege movies and wrestling, and one day thought, what if a professional wrestler had a literal death match to get out of an impossible situation. Luckily, I remembered I draw comics and did it myself. Then, naturally it spiraled out of control and I built a whole world out of it

This book will be a Limited Run, First Edition Hardcover. Around 340 Pages, final count TBD. Content is strictly black and white throughout, with content in both line art, and selective high level shade work.
This book is already fully completed and Steve S Crompton is doing the Layout himself, adding final touches, additional content, design elements, and even a new Map of Demi’s Hell!

First launched in Summer 2021, the Kickstarters became runaway hits, and the planned main story and back up comic expanded to an anthology series of books filled with 64 pages of action, adventures, romance, sex, spies, and rock ‘n roll!
Now there are 3 completed Anthology books, three spinoff series, and more than 300 pages of content that has been created that has yet to be published.
After taking 2023 off to get caught up and organized, Sex, Spies, & Rock ‘n Roll is back and ready to do a soft reboot for people to get caught up, and to get on board for the first time, and to see at least 4 new comics and graphic novels being offered every year moving forward. Cthulhu Giraffe – Break Kickstarter!
Help me design this Cthulhu Giraffe drawing, and get an ashcan comic book!
This Kickstarter is offering a super limited edition ashcan comic book about an elder giraffe god. But it is way more than that. You can also get a 6×9 print or a 4×6 postcard of the Cthulhu giraffe, with extra stuff drawn into it, as decided by the backers.
When you back this project, you get to tell me what to add to the drawing. Just comment on the Kickstarter and tell me to add something to the drawing, and I’ll do it (as long as it is appropriate – I decide what is and isn’t appropriate). Remember that every backer gets to add something – so be judicious in what you choose! The final print and postcard will be a ridiculous image crowdsourced by you, the backers. I’ll update it as often as I can, at least once a day, if not more, until the campaign ends and the final additions are submitted.

I’m Leeanne, though most of you probably know me better as “Mongie.” I’m the creator of the Eisner-nominated and Ringo award-winning webtoon “Let’s Play,” and I’m so excited to share some news with you—we’re launching the Kickstarter for the fifth volume of the graphic novel series!
I can’t tell you how much your support has meant to me throughout the first four campaigns. Working with Rocketship Entertainment has been a great experience, and thanks to them—and all of you—we’ve made it through every challenge together. I’m just so grateful to have each and every one of you on this journey with me.
If you’re new, “Let’s Play” is a story that blends gaming, comedy, and romance with characters who feel real and relatable. It’s a journey of love, friendship, and finding yourself set in the world of video games and geek culture. You’re welcome to join the over 5 million readers who have found a home in this story!
