<The book was created by Justin Stewart, Tressina Bowling and Shawn Pryor. It began as a small, 4.5? x 6? digest-sized book published by Apex Book Company in 2016 and has since gone on to be a best-selling item for the creators at conventions all over the United States.
Each city listed is a completely real place in Kentucky, and each monster the creators made for that city is unique. Each spread features a special Kaiju and lists where they’re from, how big they are and some flavor text filling the reader in on its origins and habits.

QUIET: LEVEL ONE – An Original Graphic Novel by Jonah Lobe
From Jonah Lobe (Skyrim/Fallout/Marvel), an epic adventure graphic novel about a little skeleton’s quest to save the Tree of Worlds.
QUIET: Level One is an original work written and illustrated by award-winning artist and world-builder Jonah Lobe (Skyrim/Fallout/Marvel Anatomy). This 180+ page epic will feature artwork rendered in classic black-and-white, as well as richly colored chapter pages. The enhanced Kickstarter-exclusive Hardcover Edition will add behind-the-scenes concept art, writing, and Quiet-themed work from guest artists.
In this epic adventure, a brave little skeleton, Quiet, and their companion, the Narrator Worm, are on a quest to save the Tree of Worlds from destruction. Level One takes place in the Labyrinth, where – with only the voice of the mysterious Spider to guide them – our heroes must rely on each other to prevent Galahorn, the unstoppable invader, from ascending the Tree of Worlds. Meanwhile, the evil blade known as Threadcutter has at last been found… and is beginning to whisper.
Like Yggdrasil, the Norse Tree of Life, Quiet: Level One’s Tree of Worlds contains a multitude of realities. Each branch is a world unto itself; a new Level replete with different environments, creatures, and quests. Together, these Levels form a stepladder to the font of Creation itself… which is exactly where Galahorn is headed.
The Tree of Worlds is beautiful, terrifying, and exceedingly strange – while feeling familiar to fans of fantasy, Dungeons & Dragons, and videogames. In the Labyrinth, Quiet must contend with traps, monsters, magical items, and more. How can our Level 1 skeleton possibly defeat the Level 100 barbarian? We’ll have to find out…

LOVE STORIES ABOUT DEATH — Deluxe Hardcover Graphic Novel
A collection of seven full-length genre-hopping horror stories that will tug at your heartstrings — and then rip them out!
LOVE STORIES ABOUT DEATH is a deluxe edition re-release of LOVE STORIES (TO DIE FOR) a graphic novel of five stand-alone, 22-page, genre-hopping horror stories that explore the inner-connected nature of love and death. With the original graphic novel long out of print — and the only Dirk Manning creator-owned graphic novel to never receive a deluxe limited edition hardcover release — LOVE STORIES ABOUT DEATH seeks to correct both of these factors by offering a deluxe hardcover edition of the original graphic novel in its complete and definitive form!
LOVE STORIES ABOUT DEATH will include the five stories from the original collection combined with two previously unreleased 22-page full-length stories that were intended for release in the original graphic novel but never fully illustrated. Along with the inclusion of these two “lost” stories, LOVE STORIES ABOUT DEATH will also include a new comprehensive retrospective afterword detailing the genesis and history of the graphic novel accompanied by rare/never-before-seen behind-the-scenes art extras — including the stunning original pencil-art line of the cover by superstar artist Nei Ruffio and more!
All-in, this results in approximately FIFTY PAGES OF NEW AND PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED CONTENT in this deluxe hardcover edition of the book, pushing the full graphic novel to a new length of approximately 200 pages of comic book goodness!
American Yakuza – NSFW Murder Mystery in Japan (Acts 1 & 2)
Join us on a violent, sexy trip to Japan to solve a murder. It’s Succession meets John Wick, Tokyo Vice, and MAX’s Warrior!
MMA, Japan, sex toys shop, hookers, thugs, Yakuza gangsters, Tokyo Solamachi mall, a failed assassination… ALL IN THE FIRST TWENTY PAGES OF OUR STORY!
Now, Xavier, Kyomi, and Masashi have to race to figure out who killed Tenshin, who attempted to kill them and stay alive long enough to sort out the family succession situation…
American Yakuza Act I introduced us to our protagonist Xavier Watanabe, as well as his guides and cohorts Kyomi & Masashi, as he travels to Japan to honor his murdered friend’s memory – and solve that murder mystery. Why was Tenshin killed? By whom? Who’s next…?
And who is Hiro? What’s his involvement in this latest set of circumstances??
After the events of the first act, we find Xavier and his new “friends” chasing down a lead into Tenshin’s murder: a cousin named Hiro. But there’s another person in the mix that deepens the mystery and tangles our plot knots even further: Kenji, the eldest cousin and rightful heir to the family business.
AMERICAN YAKUZA Act II picks up where we left off from Act I, but the momentum continues to accelerate as we bring more and more action, more intrigue, more twists, more turns, and more questions as Xavier’s drive to find Tenshin’s murders takes him deeper into the Japanese underworld.
Every act is written by Anthony Stokes, Chris Moses, and Charlie McElvy and illustrated by the incredible Italian artist Damiano Restivo, who brings us his uniquely stunning and cinematically-driven storytelling that is further deepened by John’s professionally perfect palette of digital color depth and dynamism. Rounding out the art team is Ringo Award-winning letterer Taylor Esposito. Edits by Xion Studios EIC Vito Delsante and Associate Editor Suzanne McElvy.
Miskatonic High is going Back to School (Part 1)
It’s a new semester and a new student has arrived at Miskatonic High… as have some creepy monsters! The new season starts here!
Welcome to Miskatonic High, the comic series about the teens who take on Lovecraft monsters and their small-town high school…they’re just not sure which is worse.
Don’t worry, you don’t need to know anything about H.P. Lovecraft to enjoy this series, just like you don’t have to remember anything from the first day of high school… or the second… or the third…
The story so far
In the rustic hills of a small New England town lies the prestigious Miskatonic High School. When the Community Services Club went on a field trip they were launched back to a silent city and were nearly killed by an evil wizard and his tentacle monster. The teens escaped back to our century, but things have never been the same. Since then, we learned some of the secrets haunting the students of the Community Service Club and that their world is not what they thought it was.
If you like your horror mixed with tongue-in-cheek humor and a bit of unexpected drama, like Buffy, Evil Dead or Get Out, you’ll probably enjoy Miskatonic High.
This is the beginning of our fourth season and with the kids going back to school to start the spring semester, it’s a great time to jump in and try the series.
Each issue is pretty much self contained, and we give you everything you need to know on the “Previously” page, so don’t feel like you need to buy all five volumes to catch up (but don’t feel like you shouldn’t either… we like buying food that isn’t in the ramen section of the grocery store).
In issue #23, it’s Anton’s first day as a reanimated teen at Miskatonic High School, but he’s not the only new student when someone from Alex’s past reappears in her life. While that’s throwing her for a loop, the others are seeing creepy monsters and eldritch beasts roaming the halls of the school. Can the group stop the monsters before they cause serious harm… like forcing the vice principal to cancel the band concert!?!
