Skullkickers: The Digest Edition
SKULLKICKERS is an action-comedy sword & sorcery comic series that ran for 34 issues from 2010-2015, building a loyal audience for its uproarious take on the genre and comics as a whole. Skullkickers is Deadpool by way of Dungeons & Dragons – irreverent, ridiculous, and frantically fourth wall breaking.
Over the past 9 years, the six trade paperbacks and three hardcover collections of Skullkickers have become harder to track down while, at the same time, writer Jim Zub’s fantasy bonafides have grown with work on seminal fantasy titles that include Dungeons & Dragons, Conan the Barbarian, Pathfinder, Samurai Jack, and Red Sonja. Thousands of fantasy fans have enjoyed Jim’s writing on commercial titles, but haven’t dug into the original sword & sorcery series that put him on the map.
SKULLKICKERS: The Digest Edition is your best chance to get on board this genre-crashing action-comedy swords & sorcery adventure on steroids! It is the story of three messed-up mercenaries who kill monsters and cause chaos in their relentless search for money and fame!
It’s like Deadpool by way of Dungeons & Dragons and is written by Jim Zub, who has worked on Dungeons & Dragons, Conan the Barbarian, The Avengers, Batman, Samurai Jack, Rick and Morty, and Street Fighter!

Zombie Date Night 2: A Zombie Romance Comedy Sequel
A Second Date You Won’t Forget
Roses are red…
Blood is too.
And the undead are even hungrier
In Zombie Date Night 2!
From the clearly rotted mind of Steve Urena (Slow Pokes 1&2, Zombie Date Night, X-Maschina, Foul Mouth) comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed zombie romance comedy, Zombie Date Night!
Still recovering from the awkwardness of their first Zombie Date Night, main characters Jack and Ginger have reached the scariest place to be…the friend zone.
When their survival group realizes they’re running out of food, the enthusiastic and outgoing Ginger leads the charge with a very reluctant Jack to find sustenance before the zombaes (zombies who can only survive with a mate) eat them first. Will the second date be better than the first or will this situationship be food for the undead?
Returning for the sequel is the original team behind the first Zombie Date Night. Incredible art drawn by Sergi Domènech. Amazing Colors by Josh Jensen. Eye-catching lettering by Anthony Rella and editing by the wonderfully talented Allegra Calderaro. This 24-page, hilarious action-packed comic has got everything: laughs, zombies, romance and, of course, over-the-top violence!

Superguy #1
When Superguy is too busy napping, it’s up to his faithful sidekick Robotguy to save the day in this 28-page action-comedy!
Superguy is a 28-page action-comedy comic book written by Anthony Iannaccio and drawn/lettered by Joey Murphy.
In the original 10-page Superguy one-shot, which every backer will receive a FREE digital copy of, we introduced the lazy, narcissistic hero Superguy and his once enemy, now turned (unappreciated) sidekick, Robotguy. In this first full-length, 28 page action-packed issue, Robotguy is eager to prove himself as a bonafied hero but Superguy doesn’t appreciate the spotlight being taken away from him…
We think comedy is sorely lacking in comic books these days and our goal is to make you laugh along with the adventures of Superguy and Robotguy. This is the first full-length comic and Kickstarter campaign from both myself and artist Joey Murphy, so we wanted to pack as much into this comic as possible. We have a planned four issue arc with issue #2 already written and we hope after successfully funding this project, we can bring you even more Superguy in the future.
I have full confidence this project will get funded and have a large social media following across all platforms with some incredibly supportive followers, including many in the comic book industry, who are ready and eager to help fund this comic!

Monkey Vol. 1-2 – A Trippy Post-Apocalyptic Action Comedy!
A reimagined “Journey to the West” — Monkey is the trippy History you wish you’d taken in high school! Coming back with a BANG!
Monkey is the offbeat saga of a rebellious anti-hero. We start from his humble beginnings, hatching from an egg in the Arizona Desert; to his eventual imprisonment beneath Mount Rushmore. Now, more than 500 years have passed since nuclear winter and only mutated half-humans remain. Legends of Monkey’s exploits are passed down and spread among them as gospel. What exactly is Monkey? Why did the Russians launch him into space? Did he really smoke weed with Allen Ginsberg? The meaning of Monkey now only furthers the divide between the warring factions within the Church of the Simian.
Ever since he hatched from that egg, Monkey has been playfully messing with people. His curiosity leads him to mischief, and that mischief all but guarantees – someone out there is about to be fucked with. I mean, we’re talking about unlimited power in the hands of a naïve and impetuous child. And even though Monkey can use his abilities to do pretty much whatever he wants, there’s nothing he values more than his own fun and entertainment. He’s more than happy to sit back and watch foolish people do foolish things. But it’s his thirst for adventure that will take him on the road, to follow the music wherever it takes him. That is… until the end of the world.
Think of this story as Forest Gump meets Tank Girl — We have the Cold War, the Hot War, and the anachronistic mashup between real historical figures and our unruly hero, Monkey — join us on this bizarre adventure as we reimagine history with a loving sneer.

Link: TOTALLY NOT A CULT: An Anthology Art Zine curated by IRCB
This year, the I Read Comic Books podcast is celebrating 10 years of podcasting. As a show, we’ve been talking about comic books week after week since 2015 and have ended up with some pretty incredible, weird, and no-context hilarious episode titles.
To celebrate the massive catalog of episodes we’ve created and all of their episode titles, we reached out to the many artists we’ve had on the podcast as guests, folks we’ve worked with on previous projects, and some talented friends of ours to illustrate the pages of this zine.
The Prompt sent to the artists: Pick a title from our huge backlog of episodes and give us your take on it in Black, White, and one color of your choice from IRCB’s branding. Some titles in this zine: “If King Of The Hill Was An Anime“, “Skin Cape,” and “Intention To Arouse.”
The Result: A 28-page, 6″ x 9″ zine of one-page illustrations in full color that not only celebrates the I Read Comic Books podcast, but is a compilation of some outstanding art done by artists of amazing talent.
We have 25-pages of art in total by 21 different artists with the remaining 3 pages being held for potential stretch goals and credits
