Roses are red…

Blood is too.

And the undead are even hungrier

In Zombie Date Night 2!

From the clearly rotted mind of Steve Urena (Slow Pokes 1&2, Zombie Date Night, X-Maschina, Foul Mouth) comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed zombie romance comedy, Zombie Date Night!

Still recovering from the awkwardness of their first Zombie Date Night, main characters Jack and Ginger have reached the scariest place to be…the friend zone.

When their survival group realizes they’re running out of food, the enthusiastic and outgoing Ginger leads the charge with a very reluctant Jack to find sustenance before the zombaes (zombies who can only survive with a mate) eat them first. Will the second date be better than the first or will this situationship be food for the undead?

Returning for the sequel is the original team behind the first Zombie Date Night. Incredible art drawn by Sergi Domènech. Amazing Colors by Josh Jensen. Eye-catching lettering by Anthony Rella and editing by the wonderfully talented Allegra Calderaro. This 24-page, hilarious action-packed comic has got everything: laughs, zombies, romance and, of course, over-the-top violence!

Superguy #1

When Superguy is too busy napping, it’s up to his faithful sidekick Robotguy to save the day in this 28-page action-comedy!

Current Funding: $5,714
Funding Goal: $2,000
Days Left: 22
Link: Superguy #1

Superguy is a 28-page action-comedy comic book written by Anthony Iannaccio and drawn/lettered by Joey Murphy.

In the original 10-page Superguy one-shot, which every backer will receive a FREE digital copy of, we introduced the lazy, narcissistic hero Superguy and his once enemy, now turned (unappreciated) sidekick, Robotguy. In this first full-length, 28 page action-packed issue, Robotguy is eager to prove himself as a bonafied hero but Superguy doesn’t appreciate the spotlight being taken away from him…

We think comedy is sorely lacking in comic books these days and our goal is to make you laugh along with the adventures of Superguy and Robotguy. This is the first full-length comic and Kickstarter campaign from both myself and artist Joey Murphy, so we wanted to pack as much into this comic as possible. We have a planned four issue arc with issue #2 already written and we hope after successfully funding this project, we can bring you even more Superguy in the future.

I have full confidence this project will get funded and have a large social media following across all platforms with some incredibly supportive followers, including many in the comic book industry, who are ready and eager to help fund this comic!

Partisans: A Graphic History of Anti-Fascist Resistance – a new comics collection edited by Raymond Tyler and Paul Buhle telling the stories of anti-fascist resistance movements across Europe during World War II. With your backing we’ll bring this project to life, so order your copy below and choose from a variety of great reward tiers including a custom anti-fascist sticker pack, a limited edition signed copy, or a radical graphic library that features other Between the Lines graphic histories.

With eleven brand new comics created by legendary and upcoming writers and comics artists – including Seth TobocmanSharon RudahlDavid LesterSummer McClintonTrina Robbins, and Anne Timmons – Partisans flips a new page in the popular understanding of anti-Nazi and anti-fascist resistance. Through vivid illustrations and compelling narratives, Partisans brings to life the struggles and triumphs of those who resisted fascism. Within these pages, readers will encounter stories of resistance from the rugged mountains of the Balkans to the urban landscapes of occupied Europe.

In 1922, Benito Mussolini came to power in Italy, leading the first movement that described itself as “fascist.” Italian socialists, anarchists, communists, and liberals – ordinary Italians from all walks of life – responded by organizing anti-fascist societies. They found solidarity in Italian immigrant communities and labour and Left groups around the world.  When Francisco Franco led the fascist assault on the first government of the Spanish Republic in 1936, with support from Mussolini and the new Nazi government led by Adolph Hitler, volunteers from more than fifty countries – anarchists, socialists, communists, and liberal anti-fascists – travelled to Spain to join the anti-fascist resistance. Despite the heroic efforts of these volunteers, the fascists triumphed. Here is where the story of Partisans begins.

As a product of New Left radicalism, BTL embodies the cooperative and democratic ideals of its founders. BTL has no boss, no individual owner; we are run by a small staff and a dedicated volunteer editorial committee. We publish books not to seek profit, but to document and promote struggles for a better world, challenge the mainstream, and offer readers new perspectives on critical political issues

The Dancer – A Psychological Martial Arts Graphic Novel

A Dancer/ASSASSIN is forced to relive the trauma of witnessing her parents’ murder as a child. COLLECTING THE COMPLETE MINISERIES!

Current Funding: $8,799
Funding Goal: $8,000
Days Left: 12
Link:  The Dancer – A Psychological Martial Arts Graphic Novel

The four issue mini-series is being collected in a 104 page graphic novel, which includes a 4 page EXCLUSIVE epilogue.

They Call Her…The Dancer is a story that focuses on the beauty and brutality of dance and martial arts, delving into the morally gray psyche of a professional dancer and assassin.

At first glance, They Call Her…The Dancer is about analyzing the similarities and differences between dance and martial arts. Dance is something that is seen as beautiful, but many don’t think about the pain that is done to one’s body to truly be a dancer. Martial arts are thought of as violent because it’s a form of “fighting”, but there’s also a dance like quality to this work of art.
But once you dig deeper, the reader will quickly realize that The Dancer is actually a story about mental health. Mia is forced to face her own childhood trauma of witnessing her parents’ murder when she becomes the enemy that she once dedicated her life to fight against. The Dancer is a morally gray story that shows that good and evil aren’t so black and white.
