The Art Of Descender

is a science fiction space opera comic book series written by Jeff Lemire and illustrated by Dustin Nguyen. The creator-owned series was published by Image Comics. The story follows a young android, TIM-21, trying to survive endless bounty hunters in a universe that has outlawed all robotics and artificial intelligence.
The series received critical acclaim for Lemire’s writing as well as for Nguyen’s artwork, with the latter winning an Eisner Award for his artwork on the series. Descender ran for a total of 32 issues, and its sequel series, Ascender, taking place ten years after the events of Descender, ran for another 18 issues.

Let’s not forgot the newest member of their team, DUCKUMS! Lily’s toy duck that comes to life, fights monsters, and is always ready with a quip.
Issue #1 is 22 pages of childhood adventure. A kids on bikes story with maybe a little pokemon thrown in. But this is just the first chapter! We are already hard at work on issue #2 with plans for many more chapters.
Scott Fogg’s Nightcare Issues 1-3
Adventures in Superhero Babysitting! Nightcare is where children of heroes & villains get dropped off as their parents do super things!
As if crazed Norsemen on flying gliders blowing a hole in the side of their school and kidnapping one of their friends wasn’t scary enough, as if portals opening all over the city with weird nightmare creatures pouring out of them wasn’t crazy enough, now the Nightcare Kids are about to crash a supervillain party!
It’s tough to be a kid. It’s even tougher when you discover you have superpowers and have to learn how to control them. Luckily, there’s NIGHTCARE.
Nightcare is where all the superheroes and supervillains drop their kids off as they head out into the night. It’s a safe place for them to practice their powers, a place for them to make friends with other kids going through the same things they are.
