Kickstarter isn’t the only place indie creators go to fund their projects. There is Zoop, Indiegogo and Crowdfundr, just to name a few.

We also want to try an highlight those projects that still need a push along with those that are pursuing the fun stretch goals.

Strap in, and let’s see what projects are out there that you should be checking out in The Krowdfunding Korner.:

Gilgamesh: Eternal #1-2 by Cam Kerkau and Kostas Pantoulas

The world’s first story continues in the world’s greatest storytelling medium. Become a part of the epic now by supporting Gilgamesh: Eternal #1-2

The Epic of Gilgamesh is the world’s oldest story, dating back almost five millennia. But Gilgamesh’s dilemma is something that remains relevant to us all today and always will. How can you live peacefully after your own mortality has truly confronted you?

Gilgamesh: Eternal is a reimagining of The Epic of Gilgamesh as a fantasy-action comic written by Cameron Kerkau with art by Kostas Pantoulas (IRWIN ALLEN’S LOST IN SPACE: THE LOST ADVENTURES, FREAK SNOW: WASHED IN BLOOD) and letters by Mira Mortal (DOLL ISLAND, MADE UP: ZOMBIE CLOWN CIRCUS).

In Gilgamesh: Eternal #1, Gilgamesh traveled to the Cedar Forest with his love, Enkidu, to conquer the giant Humbaba. With the help of some benevolent gods, they vanquished the beast and returned home to Uruk to a hero’s welcome. But, unfortunately, a jealous goddess had more monsters in store for the dynamic duo.

in Gilgamesh: Eternal #2, Gilgamesh the God-King is not what he once was. In the wake of the Goddess Inanna’s meddling, his city is shattered and his lover Enkidu has fallen. Broken, Gilgamesh ventures deep into the unknown wilderness in search of Utnapishtim the Immortal. For Enkidu was his equal and exact opposite, and if Enkidu can be killed – what does that mean for Gilgamesh?

Mixology Noir Book One: SAZERAC and VESPER

A horror/noir double-feature comic with two standalone stories inspired by classic craft cocktails.

A horror/noir double-feature comic with two standalone stories inspired by classic craft cocktails.

Cocktails have a rich, storied history. Each has an origin, a feeling it inspires in its drinkers, and an identity unto itself. As long as alcohol has existed, humans have mixed it, consumed it, and sought out (or dealt with) its effects. Sometimes these effects are joyous, other times disastrous. I wanted to write a series of stories inspired by those cocktails and their impact on people. There is no aspect of human nature, history, or mythology that doens’t mix well with an ounce of bourbon or a shot of vodka. Garnish with some horror, strain through noir, and serve straight up.
