I found the Mobius Chair at the Goodwill.
Growing up reading comics a popular question that always comes up is “what superpower would you want to have?” The power of flight, invisibility, quick regeneration were just some of the topics that would always show up. We always talked about wanting to be like Superman, Spider-Man, or Wolverine and how cool it would be to have their powers and abilities. We never talked about super-hero furniture. While what we have isn’t a lot, but what we have is really cool.
What would you do with the Mobius Chair? On the surface it is just a chair, you might be sitting on one right now, I currently am. Does your chair have the ability of teleportation? Maybe keep you living and protected from other planets atmospheres as you travel? Does your chair have a tractor beam that can pull a planet? Imagine having the ability to hang out in a chair that will pretty much take care of you, while you just hang out and see the sights of the universe.
In the Mobius Chair, you can travel through space and time. At first, this is totally something Doc Brown could get into, however, think of all the cool stuff you could see. Even if you wanted to geek out a bit and go hang with Jack Kirby, see the filming of A New Hope, the possibilities are endless and do not stop there. Remember the asshole kids who used to mess with you on the way from school, well now you have the Mobius Chair and they don’t! You have the ability of generate force fields and you can create holograms for distraction and obtaining the upper hand. No, I’m not saying harm must come to those that have given you a rough way to go, however, revenge does a sweet smell in the summer.
Being able to sit in in the Mobius Chair has always been one of those things in comics that I have always thought that it never gets its sue diligence as being badass and really cool. I have always answered my “what superpower would you want to have” question with the “quick healing” ability. It’s something to this day I really think it’s interesting and the possibilities are endless when you match it with great fighting abilities and proper knowledge on how to make that ability work for you. The Mobius Chair is different though, not is it a game-changer, it would look really cool in your living room. Let me set the scene for you. You’re on the Xbox, some little turd is on the other side of the headset talking smack, all you got to do is fire up the chair and teleport on over so ya’ll chat in person, however, I would highly recommend a recon mission to make sure that other person doesn’t look like Terry Crews who could easily smash you like a bug.
