This year, we’ve grown by leaps and bounds as an organization, and that comes down to YOU, our fans. We’re passionate about comics, and so are you. Our mission is to pay that passion forward, and we couldn’t do that without the folks like you who check out this site day in and day out for the latest news and reviews – written by fans, for fans.
So, thank you, Comic Watch Nation. We do this out of love and we’re so glad that so many of you are coming along with us on this ride.
It’s been a huge year for us here at Comic Watch! On top of the awesome growth the site itself has seen, we’ve added a diverse wealth of new voices to our team, seen others depart to pursue their professional creative dreams, while our own editor-in-chief, Nic Osborn, joined Valiant as their Marketing Coordinator (congratulations, buddy, you more than earned it). Meanwhile, we’ve streamlined our press processes to get you the latest comics news faster than ever before! And of course, our Mutant Watch and Comic Watchers Show podcasts continue to win hearts and minds!
We couldn’t do it without the support of so many amazing industry pros, too. Scott Snyder, Steve Orlando, Stephanie Phillips, Chip Zdarsky, Chris Condon, Tom Peyer, Peter Krause, Becky Cloonan, Michael Conrad, Rod Reis, Ray-Anthony Height, Matt Lesniewski, Tee Franklin, Max Sarin, Ann Nocenti, Bob Quinn, Alisa Kwitney, Ariana Maher, and so many more have contributed their time and energy to sharing with us. So many amazing things happened for us in 2021, it feels like it could be hard to top in 2022. Daunting, even. But our momentum is too big to stop! As cheesy as it may sound – as long as our passion doesn’t wane, there’s literally no where for us to go but up. As we continue to grow the Comic Watch community, we know we’re growing something special.
