It seems that the Android version of the Crunchyroll Manga app may have launched non-functional. I have not been able to sign in using the Android app after trying 4 different devices, but have had no issues signing in using the 2 iPhones that friends let me test on. The two errors I have been getting have been 14005 and 14001.
The devices I have tried
Google Pixel 10 Pro XL
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra
Samsung Galaxy Tab 6S Lite
I have also tried using a PC emulator that allows you to pick from a list of different devices to mimic, and haven’t found one that works.
I’m starting to think the Android app doesn’t work on any devices or doesn’t work on a large majority of devices.
Customer service has not been much help. I’ve seen a few people talking about the issue on the Crunchyroll subreddit and in the comments of their Oct 9 launch post on X.
