As previously revealed, a universe spanning conflict is set to be brought into the light when G.O.D.S., a new ongoing series from Jonathan Hickman and Valerio Schiti, launches this October. The two factions, the magically leaning The-Powers-That-Be and the scientific The-Natural-Order-Of-Things, have found a tepid peace that threatens to break when rogue agent Cubisk Core enacts their machinations.
Cubisk is attempting to kickstart something called a Babylon Event, which has “the potential to annihilate every last aspect of reality.” These conflicts and events fall closer to the realm of cosmic forces like Eternity, The Living Tribunal, and Infinity.
Marvel has shared the Cubisk’s design trading card along with selected pages from the upcoming #1, featuring Schiti’s art, Marte Garcia’s colors, and lettering by VC’s Travis Lanham:
