Anyone familiar with DC’s Birds of Prey series should be familiar with the top trio: Batgirl, Black Canary, and Huntress. When Director/Writer David Ayer explained that Harley Quinn would be part of the DCEU version, it shouldn’t have come as a shock to anyone, including comic fans. Aside from Wonder Woman played by Gal Gadot, no one has generated as much press and love as Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn.
Obviously, as a DC fan, we expect Huntress to be part of this series whenever it is brought to life in live action – question is, which Huntress do you prefer to see?
The two main Huntress characters that have been either: Helena Bertinelli, scorned daughter of a mafia boss. While she started out as a villain and ended up a hero, her methods have always been a little harsher than others in her field and with her background. The other is Helena Wayne, Earth Two’s daughter between Batman and Catwoman, a much kinder, more lovable type of Helena.
When CW’s Arrow tried bringing Helena into their Arrowverse, it was met with mixed reviews. Do you think the DCEU will finally get Helena right?
