A day and a half into 2018’s New York Comic Convention has comics fandom buzzing about DC Universe and its first exclusive content, Titans Season One. Titans will premier on the streaming platform on October 12th, but lucky convention goers were treated to an advanced screening preceded by the release of an all new trailer.
Wednesday night, executive producer and DC titan in his own right, Geoff Johns, announced that a second season of Titans has already been greenlit and that the second season story is already decided on. “Marv Wolfman will be very happy when we do Season 2,” says Johns. Wolfman and George Perez were the creative team on the definitive run on Teen Titans and their iconic “Judas Contract” story-arc seems almost inevitable.
As if all that weren’t already enough, DC Universe also unveiled a release timeline for all of their exclusive content extending into 2020. It looks like DC Universe is just getting started, so stay tuned for more news and updates as they arise!
