John Henry Irons – the DC superhero known as Steel – is enjoying a resurgence, thanks to both the Dawn of DC, and the “Steel: Engineer of Tomorrow” story arc currently in Action Comics, and next month, just in time for the characters 30th anniversary (first appearance: Adventures of Superman #500), actor and science fiction icon Michael Dorn, picks up the reins in his comic book writing debut in Steelworks, a six-issue limited series featuring art by Sami Basri (Catwoman, Harley Quinn).
