First Look: Nothing Is What It Seems in G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #314

Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with leading toy and game company Hasbro, revealed a first look at interior pages and variant covers for G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #314, the next issue of smash hit series from legendary series writer Larry Hama (Marvel’s Wolverine), rising star guest artist Andrew Krahnke (Bloodrik), and colorist Francesco Segala (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).

 

Featuring covers by the incomparable Andy Kubert (Marvel’s X-Men), a new chapter of the iconic series arrives in comic book shops on February 26, 2025.

 

Roadblock and a team of special operatives – including Shipwreck, Tunnel Rat, and Tripwire – head out to rescue a young dissident, but nothing is what it seems!

 

“Amidst his 300+ issue saga, Larry Hama has written a fantastic single issue G.I. JOE story that makes for a great jumping on point for new readers and lapsed fans,” said Alex Antone, Editorial Director at Skybound. “And within these pages, the astounding Andrew Krahnke makes his G.I. In addition to the main cover by Kubert and colorist Laura Martin, issue #314 will also feature an open-to-order variant cover with a black and white version of Kubert’s main cover, and the continuation of the “Camouflage Variant” 1:10 incentive cover series by Francis Portela (Black Panther), with this cover featuring Stalker.
