DC Comics Rebirth has been a roller coaster ride for fans, bringing back beloved characters ushering in one of comic’s greatest stories, The Watchmen, into the DC Universe. Now Brian Michael Bendis, current writer of all things Superman, is giving fans a look at yet another character being brought back. The original Question, also known as Vic Sage!
Bendis took to Instagram to share a sneak preview of the upcoming Action Comics #1005 with art by Ryan Sook. The image he shared is a full splash of The Question in the middle of what appears to be a very one-sided fight.
Created by the late Steve Ditko and first appearing in Blue Beetle #1 in 1967, Vic Sage was The Question until he met his end in the 2006 series titled 52. The mantle of The Question was then taken over by another fan-favorite character and Batman regular, Renee Montoya. Although Bendis hasn’t given much information regarding the character’s return, it will undoubtedly be interesting to see what he does.
