FIRST WATCH: MCU Phase Four: FOX!

After some rumors hit the net, a source close to Comic Watch confirmed that Marvel has plans for Phase Four of their film slate, including the introductions of the X-Men, The Fantastic Four, and more!

Brent Andrew, a writer at Comic Genre was at the right place at the right time: a college speaking engagement with a number of high-level Fox production crew members also in attendance.

Their discussion led to a few bombshells: X-Men Dark Phoenix would be the last in the Fox X-Men franchise, the entire crew is being changed for any further films, digital artists are currently being used to recreate sets that have already been dismantled so that added production to the X-Men film can connect to the MCU seamlessly. Further details from Bleeding Cool: that the term “hoovering” has been used to describe Kevin Feige’s plans for scooping up the many different characters now available to him! I don’t blame him!

Our source also stated that the release dates for X-Men: Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants were a direct result of the Disney acquisition of Fox and that while Comcast is still hoping to make a deal, financially, the Disney deal is hard to beat. A definitive start date has been set for the two Hollywood Studios to begin working as one.

We will continue to bring you developing news on this story as we hear it!
