IDW is proud to announce that it was nominated for 17 awards at the annual industry-wide Diamond Gem Awards, including 2017 Comic Book Publisher of the Year!
When you think of award shows, this may just be my personal mentality, you think to yourself “I have no idea why this is important or who some of these nominees are and, also who is even handing these nods out?” The first thing you need to know – Diamond Comics Distributors is the world’s largest distributor of English-language comics, graphic novels, and pop-culture related merchandise. Now you know it is legit when you get a nod from Diamond.
IDW, suggest you pick up 5 Days to Die (if you already haven’t), was nominated in some of the most prestigious categories including 2017 Comic Book of the Year, 2017 Licensed Comic of the Year, and 2017 Best New Comic Book of the year. Look below for the complete list of nominations.
Though DC cleaned house this year, IDW is was not intimidated. With amazing titles coming out in 2018, Including more of the earth-shattering 30 Days of night, Bubba Ho-Tep (Watch this movie now), and the continuation of Assassinistas. There is much to look forward to this year.
