NEWS WATCH; “FLASH” Movie Hits the Ground Running This February

DC comics favorite speedster the “FLASH” will have movie production start in February

Amongst a slew of DC movie news fans get a tidbit on the up and coming Flash feature length film and it’s that production will start in February with initial movie release date of 2020.

The film will be directed by the combined talents of John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, the filmmaking duo who directed Game Night and co-wrote Spider-Man: Homecoming with executive producers Zack and Deborah Snyder. The yet untitled Flash movie will star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / The Flash, Kiersey Clemons as Iris West, and Billy Crudup as Henry Allen with the screenplay by Harry Lampert, Jody Harold, and Gardner Fox. Goldstein and Daley will be the third directors to take a crack at the project and hopefully its a charm.

Looks like Goldstein and Daley are changing the direction of the film and not going with a Flashpoint based plot, so little is known yet on what the story might entails.

The February production start date on Flash is a month after the beginning of production on Bird of Prey and next month the Untitled Joker movie is still set to start production with an October 4th, 2019 release. But in the meantime fan can go see DC’s Aquaman in theaters December 21st.
