Comic Watch Exclusive: 247 Comics Powered by TOKYOPOP Announces San Diego Comic-Con 2026 Exclusives

247 Comics Powered by TOKYOPOP is heading to San Diego Comic-Con International (July 23-26), at Booth #1837, with convention-exclusive comics, creator signings, collectible trading cards, retailer-only offerings, and a slate of panels celebrating the stories and creators shaping the publisher’s growing lineup.

From creator-owned superheroes and science-fiction epics to collectible exclusives and convention-only experiences, 247 Comics’ SDCC lineup offers readers an opportunity to discover new worlds, meet the creators behind them, and get an early look at the publisher’s growing slate of original comics.

While SDCC offers fans an early look at what’s ahead, many of the stories featured in this year’s exclusives are only just getting started.

Readers can look forward to future releases from across the 247 Comics line, including new installments of Evermind, the upcoming debut of Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals, and the return of NEWMEN  as part of the forthcoming 247 Comics Presents/Spotlight flipbook anthology arriving later this year.

Fans can get an early look at upcoming releases, pick up exclusive editions of Evermind, Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals, and NEWMEN, participate in a convention-wide “Collectible Card Chase”, and unlock an exclusive comic available only through the SDCC experience!

FIRST-LOOK SUMMER SPECIAL #1 (Featuring Evermind)

 

Created by Daniel Wu (Into the Badlands, Westworld) and Sean Chen (Iron Man, Wolverine), Evermind will be available in SDCC-exclusive preview featuring an excerpt from Evermind #1/2 and exclusive cover artwork by GODTAIL, available in standard and foil cover editions.

 

FIRST-LOOK SUMMER SPECIAL #1 (Featuring Evermind)

Lucas Zhang and his activist daughter as they fight to prevent a revolutionary neuro-transference technology from falling into the wrong hands while trapped inside the bodies of an entertainment mecha-gorilla and an adult pleasure-bot.

CYBER LEAGUE BASEBALL

Created by Anderson Carman, the series imagines a future where baseball players are transformed into cybernetic super-athletes, forcing a team of unaugmented humans to attempt the most unlikely championship run in sports history.

The SDCC-exclusive ashcan edition features the opening story from Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals #1 and exclusive cover artwork by MANIX

Created by Rob Liefeld (Deadpool), with writing by Eric Stephenson and artwork by Jeff Matsuda, NEWMEN follows a generation of young heroes born with alien DNA and extraordinary powers as they navigate a world increasingly fearful of their existence.

SDCC 2026 Retailer Exclusives

Retailers attending San Diego Comic-Con will have access to the exclusive 247 First-Look Bundle, a retailer-exclusive package designed to showcase upcoming releases from across the publisher’s growing lineup.

The bundle, offering an early look at titles scheduled for broader release later this year,includes:

 

247 Comics Trading Card Exclusives

247 Comics will also debut the 247 Cover Collection: Fall 2026 Edition, a collectible set of 15 trading cards spotlighting the creators, characters, and stories shaping the future of the publisher.

The collection features artwork from acclaimed creators including Daniel Warren Johnson, Sean Chen, GODTAIL, MANIX, Lucas Lee-Garza, Mario Foccillo, Bill Sienkiewicz, Anderson Carman, Alfredo Cardona, Chris Campana, Mark Texeira, Larry Hama, and Tom Palmer, alongside highlights from Evermind, Cyber League Baseball: The Naturals, NEWMEN, Anno Incarnate, Hell Wrangler, Sons of the Devil, Demon’s Bridge, and 247 Comics Presents/Spotlight.

Each participating partner will offer an exclusive trading card featuring artwork from Daniel Warren Johnson, MANIX, Sean Chen, GODTAIL, Lucas Lee-Garza, and Mario Foccillo.

The remaining cards will be available as giveaways through creator signings on a first-come, first-served basis each day of the convention, exclusively at the 247 Comics Powered by TOKYOPOP Booth #1837.

 

Fans who collect all six cards during SDCC will be eligible to redeem an advance copy of First-look fall Edition #1 at the 247 Comics Powered by TOKYOPOP Booth #1837 rewarding attendees who complete the experience and connect with participating partners across the convention floor will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize package including:
