Image Comics revealed that it is bringing Gerry Duggan’s photograph book, Timing/Luck, to comic ships in November. Originally launched as a limited edition through a successful Kickstarter, the book chronicles the comic writer’s journey through comics, Hollywood, and the wider world. Duggan shot the photos primarily with Leica digital 28mm and Fuji X100 35mm, capturing subjects like Stan Lee, Mark Hamill, G. Willow Wilson, Tini Howard, and more.
In the press release, Duggan spoke about the project, stating:
“Timing/Luck is a visual autobiography of my time in Los Angeles as the worlds of comics and Hollywood began to overlap. It’s been my privilege to work with so many talented artists and travel the world in support of the work. After the successful crowdfunding effort on the limited edition, I’m proud to publish the softcover at Image Comics, my longtime home for creator-owned collaborations.”
Timing/Luck will be available in comic shops on Wednesday November 6 and bookstores on Tuesday, November 19.
