DC has shared the first sneak peek at the next crossover of the Dawn of DC publishing line; Batman/Catwoman: Gotham War. The interconnected story brings a civil war to Gotham as crime drops and the various supervillains scatter. This, combined with his recent trials during Knight Terrors and across the multiverse, has Batman on the edge of paranoia. His mind turns to Catwoman, who recently broke out of prison after murdering a man, and her role in the new status quo of Gotham.
The opening shots of the Gotham civil war takes place later this August in Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War — Battle Lines #1 writers Chip Zdarsky and Tini Howard and artists Mike Hawthorne and Adriano Di Benedetto. The story continues in the solo Batman and Catwoman titles, and the spin-off two issue miniseries Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War – Red Hood.
