Batman #137
Batman and his extended family has gone through the ringer over the last few years; a doomed wedding, Joker’s violation of his parents, an unrelenting robot, and the clawing nightmares of the recent Knight Terrors. Now, Batman has returned to Gotham just as it reaches a turning point, to embrace Selina Kyle’s lowering of violent crime by switching to crimes against the rich or continue the horrors of the city. A weak link in the chains for Zur-En-Arrh is also feeding Batman’s paranoia after Failsafe and a trip through the multiverse, and Bruce is unraveling as his mission to stop all crime reaches a fever pitch.
