This week in Gotham:

Batman: The Brave and the Bold #7

The anthology series continues to explore short and ongoing stories, starting with the return to Batman: Year One. The series follows Batman in his earliest days of the costume investigating a mystery involving children in Gotham. Then, the vigilante Wild Dog makes his debut to the series with a story of clashing with a new supervillain. The issue also features another black and white tale of Batman, along with a story of Aquaman.

The Penguin #4

Oswald Cobblepot continues his post retirement plan to retake Gotham’s underworld at the behest of the US Government. The bird themed rogue has recruited an assistant in The Help, a group of enforcers with the The Force of July, and now, a possible romance with an old flame, Lisa St. Claire. There’s also the flashforward to contend with, as Penguin and Batman face their death in a sinking Batplane.
