Netflix is developing Grim, the acclaimed BOOM! Studios horror-fantasy comic book, as an adult animated series. The adaptation will be executive produced by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, creators and showrunners of Netflix’s global hit Wednesday, alongside Jennifer Yuh Nelson, Supervising Director of the Emmy-winning Love, Death + Robots.
Created by writer Stephanie Phillips and artist Flaviano, Grim debuted in 2022 and quickly became one of the highest-selling launches in BOOM! Studios history. The series earned critical praise for its genre-blending mythology and striking visual style. Its 25-issue run concluded earlier this month.

Miles Millar, Alfred Gough, and Aaron Schmidt will Executive Produce for Millar / Gough Ink. Stephen Christy and Adam Yoelin will Executive Produce for BOOM! Studios, with Mette Norkjaer Co-Executive Producing. Jen Yuh Nelson will Executive Produce. Comic series Co-Creators Stephanie Phillips and Flaviano will Co-Executive Produce.
