Interview With Andy Lanning & Ant Williams – Bringing Slave Zero X To The Comic Page

Andy Lanning and Ant Williams, two Marvel and DC Comics legends who’ve worked on properties such as Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman, teamed up for an official comic miniseries for the upcoming video game Slave Zero X. The comic, releasing February 21st, will be included in the deluxe editions of the game.

Slave Zero X is a stylish 2.5D character action game set in the biopunk world of Slave Zero (1999). Run & Slash your way through a dystopian future in this character action game which will resonate with fans of Devil May Cry, Strider, and Guilty Gear.

This project marks a surprising turn for the duo and perhaps an unexpected project for the two industry veterans. The miniseries dives into some of the game’s background lore, which is set in a dystopian biopunk setting.
