This last Saturday, we had the luck of chatting with Ed Brisson in our X-related podcast Mutant Watch for a talk about his extensive work on X-Books, including Extermination, X-Force, Age of X-Man: NextGen, Old Man Logan, Dead Man Logan, Uncanny X-Men and, most recently, New Mutants.
Ed brought up topics that have influenced his writing like anxiety issues or family relationships, the experience of decision making in the X-writers room (and some really interesting examples on that) and the process of balancing readers’ experiences with continuity. He also teased some new unannounced 2021 projects to come both at Marvel and on creator owned projects, and touched a little bit on his Ghost Rider run. And it was, overall, a lot of fun.
