Are there just too many legacy and variant superheroes now? Hulk variants. Iron Man variants, Spider-Man family, Batman family, Superman family, and a rainbow of various GL heroes. Alan Scott is OG, I get it, but how do you make such a character stand out, (besides retconning his sexual identity, which they also did to Tim Drake,) when there are so many GL legacies and variants? IDK, just think these companies paint themselves into a corner trying to give everyone a series – and Scott is just battling a mirror version of himself, which further robs Scott of distinctive narrative agency…
