A set of low brow vintage horror and sci-fi inspired comic zines
It has been many moons since anyone has laid eyes upon the ancient comic tome known to a special few as GUNK, the bastard creation of the mad artist, Curt Merlo. But finally, after much anticipation, the first ever reprinting of the 2018 occult classic comic zine is among us! Those who experienced the original book recall it as an inky exploration into the bizarre world of pulpy vintage horror and strange romance. Now, focus beyond this material plane and into the graveyard of forgotten books and you may be lucky enough to witness the specter of the aforementioned monstrosity that is GUNK.

A by-fans-for-fans hybrid convention for Our Flag Means Death. Now fundraising for its second year, for another weekend of pirate fun!
Following a highly successful first call to port, the world’s first dedicated Our Flag Means Death convention is sailing back into Bristol and onto a device near you.
Our Con Means Death will return from 15-17 September at Future Inn, Bristol and online. Run by a dedicated team of fans with backgrounds in event organizing, Our Con Means Death first took place in September 2022, raising over £3000 in support of Mermaids UK – a charity supporting trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming young people and their families. This year, we will be supporting them again. Our Con Means Death is a not-for-profit, unofficial, by-fans-for-fans convention. It features panels, workshops, cosplay, games, pirate booty (exclusive con merchandise) and other Our Flag Means Death and pirate-themed activities, as well as fan traders selling their pirate treasures.
