The Super-Delish Sing-Along Comic Book: Cottage Cheese

Welcome to a very special ORANGE CONE PRODUCTIONS project

The Super-Delish Sing-Along Comic: Cottage Cheese is a very personal story about a young boy named Remy and his love of cottage cheese over every other food on Earth. Comic book creator and Co-Publisher of Orange Cone Productions Heather Gibb wrote an amazing song and comic book about her son and the rest of their family as they go on a magical adventure in comic and song.

Comic book creator and Co-Publisher of Orange Cone Productions Heather Gibb wrote an amazing song and comic book about her son and the rest of their family as they go on a magical adventure in comic and song.

In real life, three-year-old Remy Gibb eats cottage cheese EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. He asks for it for every meal (around his snack schedule, of course). We have to travel with it, use top-notch negotiation skills, and sometimes (don’t tell him) we have to save his favorite brand containers and scoop another brand into it when the store is out of his cottage cheese of choice. It has become such a joke within the family, that Heather wrote and sang Remy a song about it, which then morphed into the idea of a book.

What’s better than a regular-old comic book? A SING-ALONG COMIC BOOK – SUPER-DELISH STYLE! What’s better than cottage cheese? Nothing, according to the boy. Although you may have a different opinion about cottage cheese, perhaps Remy and his Miniature Schnauzer Jean-Ralphio can change your mind?

MechaTon is a story about fighting for your community against selfishness and authoritarianism, getting by with clever thinking and teamwork, and trying to out-pun your little sister and her strange, witchy significant other—also, trash robots punching giant monsters. Think Scott Pilgrim meets Pacific Rim. The first issue is 28 pages, and all subsequent issues are 20 pages.

Luckily, everything they need just fell out of the sky: the MechaTon glove, a machine that converts anything it punches into a real-life Gundam, whether it’s a hotdog stand or the entire planet. They aren’t the only ones who want to take advantage of this power. If they’re going to save their neighborhood, they’ll have to battle corporations, the military, and actual space fascists. Here’s hoping they look cool doing it!
