Welcome to Paperfilms newest Kickstarter DEEP SEA: Written by acclaimed duo Jimmy Palmiotti [ Punisher-Harley Quinn-Painkiller Jane] and Justin Gray [ The Resistance- Jonah Hex and Powergirl], with stunning visuals from award-winning artist Tony Akins[ Fables and Wonder woman] and masterful colors by Paul Mounts. DEEP SEA is a standalone 48 page graphic novel that plunges readers into a world where memory, mystery, and monsters collide.

We introduce you to Paul Barry who was once a fearless deep-sea diver—until a catastrophic mission swallowed his crew and the ship they were on and left him drowning in guilt. Decades later, long after he’s hung up his gear, the impossible happens: the missing vessel is recovered, and he is called to the scene to discover what awaits him. what surfaces isn’t just wreckage—it’s a terrifying truth buried in the abyss. Now Paul must confront the ghosts of his past and the ancient secret that’s been waiting in the dark. This is the story of Lost love that lingers like sonar echoes, where Exploration of the unknown opens the doors and unleashes a primordial force, older than myth and hungry for reckoning, and that is just the beginning.

DEEP SEA is more than a monster story—it’s a high-concept adventure wrapped in emotional introspection, with the pulse of a blockbuster and the soul of a tragedy. This was originally published in a three-part serial many years ago for Dark Horse Comics, but the team got together and added three more chapters, and all of this is presented for the first time here!

If you’re drawn to stories like The Abyss, Sphere, or The Thing, but crave something more intimate and emotionally resonant, DEEP SEA will pull you under—and you’ll be glad it did. This is an all-ages story. 48 pages.

Cirilla (Cirray) MacKinlay is a strong-willed farm girl, born and raised in the Scottish Highlands during the 19th century, who dreams about a life of adventure. Upon discovering her Pureblood Monoki werewolf lineage, Cirray’s eyes are opened for the first time to the existence of Supernatural beings and creatures of Fantasy. With the aid of Silver Mane, a fellow Pureblood Monoki, Cirray must find her place in the world while training to master her lycanthropy in order to battle the Dark Covenant of the European region, led by the malevolent Mongrel Monoki, Grim Fang.

Cirray MacKinlay is Snow Paw!

Welcome to the Snow Paw #1-4: 19th Century Scottish Female Werewolf Fantasy Kickstarter campaign! My name is Robert A. Multari and I’m the creator/writer of Night Wolf and Snow Paw.

It has been my dream since I was a kid, struggling with Attention Deficit Disorder and Dyslexia, to be a comic book creator because comic books have helped me to overcome my learning disabilities. I’ve had the pleasure of self-publishing Night Wolf #1-10 and Snow Paw #1-3, with the help of my past Kickstarter backers, who I refer to as my Wolf Pack.

Now, I stand ready to publish my Snow Paw Issue 4! That’s why I’ve come back to pay for the printing and the rewards that you will receive for backing my project.

Why another Werewolf comic? Snow Paw is my personal favorite character that I’ve created and she has been very well received by the Wolf Pack, who have been howling for more of her. I also wanted to write a story focused on a strong female character for my daughter and other girls getting into comic books to look up to as a strong role model. This was also a great opportunity for me to explore Snow Paw’s origin story over 200 hundred years before the events of Night Wolf.

But we share a dream.

It is a dream about Serants and Superdragons. About a war that erased what once was. Humans are just a memory; their civilization just ruins and old bones. War itself has become a relic of a past that decorates the landscape with the bodies of the dead, abandoned war machines, and the footprints of battle. Nature has started to reclaim the Earth, but the scars of history are still everywhere.
