BOOM! Studios announced a new edition of Lumberjanes as it celebrates its 10 year anniversary later this year. The hit series, from creators ND Stevenson, Shannon Watters, Grace Ellis, and Gus Allen, released in 2014 as part of the BOOM! Box imprint, chronicling the adventures of a group of girls at a summer camp as they face challenges: real and fantastical alike. Launching via Kickstarter, the Lumberjanes 10th Anniversary Library Editions will collect the stories into eight hardcover volumes. Alongside the new editions, the Kickstarter also promises rewards like exclusive merit badges, a foot locker box, and a commemorative print.
As of this reporting, the campaign has been fully funded, with a pledge of [thus far] $87,135 of a $25,000 goal.
In the press release, BOOM!’s President of Publishing and Marketing Filip Sablik stated:
“There would be no BOOM! Box imprint without Lumberjanes, and as we celebrate the 10th year anniversary of the BOOM! Box imprint we also celebrate the enormous success, cultural impact, and 10th year anniversary of Lumberjanes. This campaign is sure to delight fans new and old with beautifully designed hardcovers, in-world collectibles, and special surprises to be announced as the campaign progresses.”
The campaign will be open for another 29 days, closing on May 9. Throughout the month, new rewards and items will be revealed via the Kickstarter page, which can be found here.
