Mad Cave Studios and Maverick recently launched its newest graphic novel, Silver Vessels, from writer Steve Orlando and illustrator Katia Vecchio. The book follows a group of teenagers hunting for lost Spanish treasure in the Florida Keys during summer vacation. Maverick shared a full synopsis for the series in the press release, which can be read below.
After obsessing over a history lesson at school, Joshua enlists his two best friends to travel to the Florida Keys for the summer to hunt for the treasure of Our Lady of Atocha, a Spanish treasure galleon and the most widely known vessel of a fleet of ships that sank in a hurricane off the Florida Keys in 1622. Staying up, sneaking out, and searching for a legendary buried treasure is just the beginning of the summer of their lives!
In the press release, Steve Orlando spoke about the series, stating:

Along with the interiors, Vecchio also provided the cover to the volume, which Mad Cave shared previews of in the press release.
