This year marks 60 years since Janet Van Dyne’s explosive debut as the Wasp and Marvel will celebrate this landmark with fan-favorite creators Al Ewing (IMMORTAL HULK, X-MEN: RED) and Kasia Nie (MOCKINGBIRD; AGE OF CONAN: BELIT) in a new limited series that kicks of here in WASP #1 (of 4).

Janet sets out to change up her role in the team she helped found, the Avengers. However, just as she’s about to get started, a villain from her past returns – and they may threaten everything she has worked for.

To overcome this villain and the dangerous new organization behind them, Janet will team up with her protégé Nadia Van Dyne, only to discover a shocking connection to both their histories.

Fashion designer, businesswoman, and founding Avenger—Janet Van Dyne has worn many hats over the course of her superheroic career.
