Marvel revealed more Foil Variant Covers for August, after the success of recent programs. Two number #1s, for the upcoming Al Ewing and Martín Cóccolo Immortal Thor series and the Star Wars: Dark Droids limited series from Charles Soule and Luke Ross will feature these limited covers.
Cóccolo will provide the foil variant for Immortal Thor, which features the creative duo giving the god of Thunder the Immortal Hulk treatment in a finding of mythology. Giuseppe Camuncoli illustrates the Dark Droids cover, spotlighting R2-D2 as the event turns its focus on rare metals and ancient killer droids.
