Today Marvel’s Voices reached a milestone when it hits its 100th issue on Marvel Unlimited!
The anthology series renowned for its fresh take on “the world outside your window” will bring Marvel Unlimited readers exciting stories all summer long!
Marvel’s Infinity Comics are a vertical format designed for phones and tablets exclusive to Marvel Unlimited. Since launching in September 2021, Marvel Unlimited has published over 1,000 Infinity Comics to date from over 300 top Marvel creators.
Issue #100 is the finale of the current “Unlike Any Other” arc, but it also kicks off a major new adventure for upcoming Voices stories on Marvel Unlimited. Teased on the final pages of this issue, KID JUGGERNAUT: MARVEL’S VOICES #1 will kick off next week on May 15.
Readers will finally get to dive into the origin story of Justin Jin! After his explosive introduction in Marvel’s Voices, Kid Juggernaut is unstoppable. The new Kid Juggernaut series features superstar writer-artist team Emily Kim and Minkyu Jung.
The momentous issue, MARVEL’S VOICES #100: KID JUGGERNAUT, is written by Anthony Oliveira with art by Minkyu Jung and will be available in Marvel Unlimited’s exclusive Infinity Comic format.
After a shard of the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak fell into the hands of Justin Jin, a young Korean-Canadian student and baker, he’s now cursed to become a human juggernaut. But while the demon Cyttorak usually seeks champions who are full of rage, Justin is a kind and gentle soul. What use Cyttorak has for him is yet to be seen…
On the series, Oliveira said in a Marvel Press release:
, “I think the whole team behind Marvel’s Voices should be immensely proud of the work they’ve done and the stories they’ve told. I’m so lucky to work with these talented artists and editors – there’s no greater joy as a storyteller than seeing someone else bring your idea to life, and make it a million times more interesting, dynamic, and creative.
When Sarah Brunstad approached me about this new series, I knew very early on who I needed, and most of all that I would need someone new: Justin Jin, the new Juggernaut. The Juggernaut’s story has always been about power – but it’s been about power taken, power seized. What does it mean to find that within yourself? To me, Justin’s journey is going to be about finding your way in the world, your place in its past, culture, and community, and how you can make it better. I think the Marvel universe is going to be so much better for having him, and I can’t wait for readers to meet KID JUGGERNAUT!”
This June, another all-new Marvel’s Voices series will be available to subscribers, when AVENGERS ACADEMY: MARVEL’S VOICES #1 launches on June 26.
