After the Maker altered the course of history in Ultimate Invasion, the world’s political structures shifted into new forms, including the lack of a United States government. The Ultimates, a superteam labeled as terrorists for their opposition to the world order, are on a mission to prepare for the return of the Maker, trying to kick start as many superhero origin stories as possible. Those paths will collide as they dig deeper into the flaws in this reality, starting in Washington.
