MOON KNIGHT Enters a New Phase with the Oversized Issue #25

Marvel has revealed that the upcoming landmark issue of Moon Knight will herald the end of the Jed Mackay run. Issue #25, an oversized issue that will feature art from Alessandro Cappuccio, Alessandro Vitti, and Partha Pratim, will foreshadow the events of Knight’s End, the supposed endgame of the run. Issue #25 was already reported to be a deep dive into the past and present of Marc Spector, tying in elements from both the comics and MCU.

Plenty of plotlines are still dangling in the series, including a Zodiac on the loose, the mastermind of the sound based villains operating in New York, and the ongoing romance between Marc and Tigra. Mackay and company have shown a willingness to play the long game in the run, so it’ll be interesting to see how all of these story threads come together, along with the upcoming characters.

Alongside Knight’s End will be the limited series Moon Knight: City of the Dead from writer David Pepose and artist Marcelo Ferreira. The series is set to introduce MCU original character Layla El-Faouly’s Scarlet Scarab, after her first comic appearance in Moon Knight #25. Her appearance bridges the series and appears to continue the expanse of Moon Knight’s growing roster of allies

Along with these announcements, Marvel shared a trailer for Moon Knight #25 and Moon Knight: City of the Dead #1, which can be seen below.
