New Heroes and Voices Swing Into Upcoming MARVEL’S VOICES: SPIDER-VERSE Special

Marvel announces the line-up for its upcoming Spider-Verse themed Marvel’s Voices oneshot. The oversized specials serve as an opportunity for rising creators to tell innovative stories and spotlight diverse characters across the Marvel universe. The one-shot will tell stories of new and existing Spider-characters, including a Miles Morales story from writer Cody Ziglar and artist Jahnoy Lindsay, writer/artist Jason Loo’s sitcom influenced Spider-Friend and writer Cheryl Lynn Eaton and artist Julian Shaw’s Electro controlled dystopian hero, Recluse.

Marvel’s Voices: Spider-Verse is set for a release this April, bridging the Spider-Verse gap between the current ‘End of Spider-Verse’ story in Dan Slott and Mark Bagley’s adjectiveless Spider-Man title, and right before the release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse animated film in June.

The oneshot is set to feature a main cover from Leinil Francis Yu with variants from Phil Jimenez, Inhyuk Lee, and more. The covers for the one-shot along with a breakdown of some of the stories in the issue can be seen below.
