Not satisfied to have worked writing the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and serving as head writer and exec producer on the upcoming Loki from Disney+, Michael Waldron will be adding a Star Wars film to his resume.
Waldron, the Emmy-winning writer and producer on season 4 of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, also created and executive produced Starz’s upcoming wrestling drama Heels which stars Stephen Amell (ARROW). According to the entertainment website Deadline, Waldron has been set to write a new Star Wars feature film that Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios and Chief Creative Officer of Marvel, will develop and produce for Lucasfilm and Disney and is just one part of the recent deal Waldron signed with the studio.
At this time there has been no comment by Disney or confirmation of what the Star Wars property will be featured in the film he is developing.
