New York Comic Con 2022: Big City Greens Roundtable Interviews

Big City Greens is the Y7 animated comedy adventure television series created by the Houghton brothers that focuses on the Green Family and their adventures in the Big City after losing his farm in the country. Bill Green and his two kids Cricket and Tilly move in with his mother Alice (Gramma), who lives in the middle of a city known as “Big City on a small farm . The driving story points are Cricket’s curiosity and enthusiasm which finds him and his family in some wildly out of place epic journeys, and into the hearts of his new neighbors.

The series which began in June 2018, was created by the Houghton brothers based on their upbringing in the small rural town of St. Johns, Michigan. The show is influenced by their real-life experiences after departing a rural farmland for college in big cities. Many of the characters are inspired by their real-life family members and neighbors.
