Brought to us by none other than Donny Cates (Venom, Thanos, Dr. Strange, etc) at this year’s C2E2 convention in Chicago, IL. The news of what will most likely be the premiere Marvel event of the summer is the return of Cletus Kasady in Marvel’s Absolute Carnage. The backstory will be in the forthcoming Free Comic Book Day Amazing Spider-Man/Venom #1, which is written by Cates and Ryan Stegman. In a video posted earlier this morning by Cates, he gives a few details on what we can expect. And the news is bad if you’ve worn a symbiote because Carnage is coming for you! Going all the way back to Amazing Spider-Man #252, and continuing through Maximum Carnage, Venomized, and anything that has ever come in contact with a symbiote is a target! “Everyone is a target, and everyone is in danger” according to Cates. The hunt is on, starting in August with Absolute Carnage #1.
